I have 2 weddings to go to next month. I need some nice, quality items that are super cheap for me to buy. I want them to say-- oh Auntie we can't believe you got us xyz. It's the nicest gift we've gotten and we'll use it a lot. You are the best gift giver ever. Thank you. PS. No. I don't know what to get. I need ideas.
I happen to know the some members of the mediocre team are fantastic at putting together a shirt website. American Apparel blanks, great artists, fantastic quality control, terribly slow shipping.... I'd love to see that. The shipping doesn't have to be terribly slow.
I'd like to see some cool product launches. I dream about another chocolate company that wants to experiment on a community of shoppers who enjoy discussing the pros and cons of their product with their representative. I'd also like to see some cool toys for my new infant that don't cost an arm and a leg.
WTG me for finding the thread and digging up the skeletons instead of burying them and starting a new one...
Some things I'd love to see.
New NAS hard drives (not refurbished) Synology nas Drobo units Time Capsule units Diapers Dice (I love the D4) Razer mice Logitech wireless higher end keyboards using the unifying receiver Decent Quality Bluetooth headsets (I'm partial to Blueant) MFI lightning cables iPhone 6 plus case that will work with the speaker docks that I've been buying Card sleeves preferably the KMC kind, maybe MEH branded! That'd Be freaking AWESOME actually. Beer stuff... Maybe a keggerator, Meh tap handles... Irk.. Ok maybe not the irk, but irk Bumperstickers, Irk plush External hard drives that are decent. I think I've given a few ideas...
Items in bulk , and.... dare I say it... Roombas. Yeah, yeah, don't give me no lip, folks. My last two suffered their demise after hitting some dog diarrhea and successfully spreading it all over the living room. I'll spare you the photos.
Cheap high quality power tools and woodworking hand tools would be amazing. Things like table saws and drill presses or things like assorted planers and specialized hand saws. As someone with very little disposable income, buying the tools I want/need is a struggle.
Christmas/Holiday cards with Meh theme. Blendable alcohol markers. Any kinds of fun color markers. Garden ornaments--trolls! American flags. Interesting yarn--the undersized skeins from end of a run are fun. Costume elements for Halloween (occasionally throughout the summer). Good quality wiper blades. Christmas ornaments/decorations late summer/fall. Those slidey things to put under furniture so it's easy to move. Frame-able (or tackable) good-quality interesting prints.
A multi pack of all the meh and/or mediocre apparel offered so far (or new ones). Talking plushes of all the meh.com mascots. Coffee related gadgetry, especially grinders. Any Doctor Who products.
Doesn't really matter what the item is so long as it seems like a crazy bang for your buck. I had more fun buying the 30 totally useless neoprene covers just because it was $8 for 30 and buying 20 was $10, or whatever it was, can't remember.
coffee yeah, good stuff, lots of good stuff, as long as it's real coffee stuff and not junque
wine.woot used to actually do non-wine food stuff that was like a try our stuff, i bought coffee from Thanksgiving coffee company, and beehive cheese I remember
I know many of these may be hard due to MAP pricing and costs, but... -quadcopter -gopro -kids toys/books -quality socks (Lorpen, Smart Wool, Save our soles, Darn Tough) -mophie iPhone case -theater projector -quality tools -canon camera lenses -auto detailing kit -camping gear
I've been looking for a good juicer that can meh the fuck out of my oranges.
Catshirts. =^.^= On AA.
@Fishbiscuit's Celebrate Mediocrity as an official shirt here would be good too.
meh. (Did I do that right?)
@fishbiscuit: Yep! @snapster or @dave: Have any shirt contracts drafted yet? Non-exclusive printing rights only for a commission per sale?
Its been almost 9 years since I bought Blinged-out Cabbage
Where's ma bukket?
How about refurb silicone breast implants?
Skylanders, so I can get that 2nd mortgage I always wanted.
something that doesn't require a Apple product.
@Quantumcat windows phone, dock for windows phone
Do it yourself taxidermy kits with bonus nachos.
I would love to see a plush of the Meh Troll! Would look great on my desk at work!
@lcastil1 This. Perfect for when something goes wrong, so I can run around with the plush in hand, singing Something Went Terribly Wrong.
@ComputerMD82 It needs to have a chip inside that sings it for you.
Bags of Meh would be nice too!
@lcastil1 it's called fukukuburo
Roku. C'mon. You have to sell a refurbished Roku at some point.
@DJP519 agreed, and not that stupid stick one either.
What about Sansas? I miss Sansas :)

Define cheap.
I don't even know anymore. I'm already shelling out a wad to fly across country and put myself up in a hotel. Not to mention a dress &shoes.
But I'll take a stab and say 100 bucks {each -- 2 weddings}. It's a nice round number.
To be honest I thought of this exact post when I saw what was for sale today. You'd be my favorite Auntie if you got me one.
But not in a creepy way.
The only gift like that from our wedding was my stand mixer. Still use it often. Def not < $100 though.
Got my niece a nice Kitchenaide -- but went in on it w/ other family member. Maybe could do same.
@JonT They are coffee freaks- she worked as a barista. They have all the gear.
I happen to know the some members of the mediocre team are fantastic at putting together a shirt website. American Apparel blanks, great artists, fantastic quality control, terribly slow shipping....
I'd love to see that. The shipping doesn't have to be terribly slow.
A sub-$15 price tag would be nice too. And compared to some other site, any level of QC would suffice.
(My last 4 were fault-free, at least. Still, 14 issues in the past 31 is a bad ratio.)
I'd like to see some cool product launches. I dream about another chocolate company that wants to experiment on a community of shoppers who enjoy discussing the pros and cons of their product with their representative. Buy all the cool toys you want. She/he will like the box the best.
Leak frogs.
(Well, sort of. Mine are still beeping fine. It's the thought that counts though, right?)
A random box of old school video games.
I'm with @mjc613 new product launches would be interesting. Mediocre laboratories could add value in user feedback in trade for discounted products.
How about selling everything from this video.. Except for that USB mailbox light thing...
ps. I'm a huuuuge Matthew fan ♡
WTG me for finding the thread and digging up the skeletons instead of burying them and starting a new one...

I think I've given a few ideas...
@sohmageek Drobo DDR3A21 @ B&H for $200 today, 3/23/2015. Their HGST NAS drives are priced well too.
@narfcake That's a pretty good deal. I've been looking at the networked drobos, but I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a USB one... :)
Awhile Back, i missed out on a refurb beertender over on woot for like $30. Been watching for one of those to pop back up @ an ≤ price
Kyocera ceramic knives
More things like the BUILTS that I didn't know I wanted
Someone to buy my giant bubblegum machine
I love - and buy - the random stuff I never thought about or knew I needed. So more awesome and random and essential the better!!!
ANY KIND OF QUADROCOPTER, LIKE DJI PHANTOM.
PLEASE BRING A DRONE (QUADROCOPTER)
@bluetide I would go into debt so fast for this.

Those Kidrobot Dunny figures are very cute.

@MSticklefeather LOVE those furniture slidey things! Those arm strap things are so useful moving around heavy, bulky objects, too!
I want my main man, muh bro.... Irk, plush and stuffed!
Built NY covers for various electronic devices. But I'd like them in 30 packs or more.
Also, kitchen doo-dads and appliances.
A multi pack of all the meh and/or mediocre apparel offered so far (or new ones).
