So the Meh-a-thon so still going on, but the IRKs are sold out? I’m glad I didn’t make my $40 purchase like I had planned and was then going to go purchase the IRK, not today meh, not today.
I just popped back to check to see if there was anything worth spending $40 in the next half hour on, in order to spend $10 (after rebate on an IRK) Seeing that it’s sold out will ensure that anything I do decide to buy won’t be influenced by that. So actually a good thing for someone with a house full of IRK crap, and probably enough IRK bags to buy the entire inventory of a small bodega.
Got one, but only because I wanted the little steam cleaner that was 50, and I didn’t see it available on sidedeal. That and I got an entire luggage set in an IRK earlier this year… still chasing that gambler’s high! More regrets incoming…
Most of the deals today were indeed… Meh. Especially because if sidedeal has them for the same price then for a VMP you’re paying more!
I was hoping for those 12in fans to drop to sub $10 but alas they must still be selling.
Think of it this way though, if you wanted to buy an IRK and missed it because you waited, didn’t you really just take a much more ‘instant’ (and cheaper) route to the regret you were seeking?
I always order the IRK because we either laugh at the silliness we receive or enjoy the power bank when the power goes out, the bread maker that I have an obsession with and the luggage we use for travel. Admittedly, we have 7 adult children and a teenager still at home, so usually if we don’t have a use for the IRK we receive, our family and friends do. When someone received the toilet chair elevator, I was hoping we would receive one too cuz my husband REALLY would have laughed
Last year we received a ball trimmer. I put it in a white elephant gift and it was the hit of the party! Lots of steals and laughs with that one!
Thanks Meh!
@catthegreat It fits over the toilet seat. They can have handles on each side. It makes it easier for people who have a harder time getting up off the toilet due to weakness and/or surgery. My husband and I work in healthcare and we sometimes tease each other about getting older.

@ciabelle
I have the bags but I’ve offloaded all the crap, although I do have some left for the exchange.
Ooops - just cancelled a bunch of mehrathon orders then.
I didn’t get one since nothing jumped out and said bring me home from the mehrathon

@bobthenormal nah, usually my irks are somewhat worthwhile, I didn’t know they would go all sold out
@bobthenormal ha I got that luggage set, too! Along with the email from the person who returned it …
@catthegreat haha what did the email say?? I never did find any reviews of them to hint why they might have ended up gracing the meh warehouse floor
@bobthenormal it was from the woman who returned it, saying she thought the luggage was flimsy and didn’t want it

Best Meh-rathon EVAR!
I ignored it.
I wasn’t spending $50. Although I’ll probably regret it once the feed starts rolling in bc whenever I don’t get one that’s when people get good stuff.
