In case you are curious… you really really can’t buy a 2nd IRK, even if you hit it right when it goes on sale. Yes, I know, the rules say, only 1 per offering, but decided to test it since I accidentally ran across 2 offerings today (after staying up late last night just to get one).

@user24239504 Not since they were called fukubukuros. People got ideas when it happened, so they had to meh it up to eleven and change the name to make sure the cynical consumer base remained docile.
@user24239504 Occasionally. One person got a brandnew X box series X and another got a brand new Playstation 5; both back in 2020, I think. There’ve also been a few spectacularly weird or bad ones over the years!

Many packages to my co-op apt bldg were marked “delivered” on the FedEx app but nary a trace was found… a couple while I sat in my lobby watching invisible delivery guys never show. My December 2020 xmas IRK was listed as weighing like 9lbs… it too was marked “Delivered” but never showed. Not to mention bldg has cameras and a mailroom active18hrs a day. With cheap bulk shipping FedEx hangs up on recipient inquiries after announcing that only the shipper can institute a “claim” on an errant package. I couldn’t be sure my IRK was a special one but almost all my other wayward fxGround packages eventually arrived.
