@cinoclav yup and done. I got back well after midnight from Houston after 4 long days at MD Anderson and saw I had already missed two irks. Went to sleep and just got up due to cats that had missed me wanting attention. Gave up trying to go back to sleep until some petting had happened. They settled down. Decided to look and see. And bingo 14 seconds until the next deal and it was this! Better luck with the irk (which probably will go live in Greenwood, IN, hmmm so maybe not) than there.
Sorry bud. I clicked the same not a robot button and still got one. Joke’s on them though, cause I’m totally a robot. Beep bop boop. Destroy all humans. Take their money and give them semi-worthless garbage. Beep.
gah! I knew it was coming, they always have one about this time, I did everything perfectly. There is no chance I could have done it more smoothly or quicker (and it still sold out).
Too much lag/latency where I am to be able to win one. It would be nice if they did something like, you can only win one once every six months, or something like that to give those of us with less than perfect connections a chance.
@gc3024 I’ve only won two in… how many years has Meh been running now? And that’s with trying all day long in many cases.
I also got two during the birthday thing a few years ago from comments in the forum- which was nice
The same people get them every mehrathon. Some people get more than one a year, or in back to back mehrathons. It would be nice if there was some cool down on getting one so that other people stood a chance.
@Kidsandliz Yeah, the first time was no big deal, it was 10 minutes away. This last one is an hour away from me and sent to a friend that I don’t see very often. I didn’t even see the address as I was too busy clicking ‘I’m not a robot’ and trying to get the order in.
@sammydog01 I hadn’t. Definitely wasn’t about to cancel and try to reorder an IRK. That address glitch is bad. Just because you used an address, it shouldn’t default to it and change it to your primary.
(Ya hear me @ChadP?!) Yeah, it’s nice to be able to enter a different shipping address, but it should always default to your primary until you choose something else. Our favorite forumess turned official employee fixed it and I’ve deleted the other address.
@sammydog01 Nah, Amazon typically shows you the shipping address options in that case to confirm where you’re sending. They don’t automatically change your default shipping address like what’s happening here.
