@fropek When the current item reaches zero, give it half a second and click refresh. Refresh until it changes but don’t do it too quickly so that you accidentally refresh the page after it’s changed. Keep your mouse over the ‘Buy it’ button so as soon as you see it you can click. You know you’re going to get the captcha so you have to scroll down right away to click it and then the ‘Yes fine, buy it…’ button.
I have failed again. I am filled with despair… which I guess is what Im supposed to feel even if I do get one. So WIN! Later I will post about how this website actually saved my life… I haven’t been active in a long while and really should have shared.
@Panegyric I failed too. But every once in a while the magic happens and I get one. And then it arrives and all my anticipation turns to despair again. It’s such a vicious cycle. But the community keeps me coming back
@kerryzero@Kyeh@Kyser_Soze I got one once with some really old toys and a wooden box found outside the building … I kinda like getting random irks and finding things to do with stuff even if its not awesome on paper. Also? I just want something fun to come in the mail for once. even silly useless fun.
@ShandaSunshine That’s part of the mystery. A new item goes up for sale at midnight eastern time and you might want to see if it’s an IRK. Doubtful but it used to be the only item sold that day.
Now it seems they are only offered during Mehrathons where multiple items are offered throughout the day and a timer is on the page to show you how much time is left until the current product is removed from the home page and a new product is offered. If you stay up for 24 hours straight and look at every product offering, you might see some IRKs peppered in between those offerings. When you see one, good luck getting it because they have a limited supply and thousands of people trying to buy it. It will sell out in a few seconds.
