I can quickly give you a number for November 9, 2015 through today: $14,186
BUT, this excludes the 40 days in the last year that we had a price range (meaning selling any day selling at least two things that cost different amounts) so it’s just the least the amount could be. This is just me tallying up a spreadsheet we’ve got internally, so it ignores values that aren’t a single number.
@Pantheist Just a zero. You could estimate it by dividing that number by 325 days, and then multiplying that by the missing 40 days, assuming those days had roughly average products. That’d add $1745.90 to the total, so $15,931.
I just now found this thread, so here are a few fun facts for you:
If you were to buy one item a day in 2014, at the lowest price it would cost $9639 (First sale was 2014-07-08). Average price of lowest cost item was $54.48
If you were to buy one item a day in 2014, at the highest price it would cost $10636. Average price of highest cost item was $60.09
If you were to buy one item a day in 2015, at the lowest price it would cost $14385. Average price of lowest cost item was $39.41
If you were to buy one item a day in 2015, at the highest price it would cost $15113. Average price of highest cost item was $41.41
If you were to buy one item a day in 2016 so far, at the lowest price it would cost $13757. Average price of lowest cost item was $43.81
If you were to buy one item a day in 2016 so far, at the highest price it would cost $14294. Average price of highest cost item was $45.52
If you were to have purchased an item from every sale meh has offered, at the lowest option price, you would have spent $37781, or an avg of $44.14 a day.
If you were to have purchased an item from every sale meh has offered, at the highest option price, you would have spent $40043, or an avg of $46.78 a day.
when you say ‘buy everything’, do you mean buy 3 of every sale, or one of each color, or 3 of everything from your account and 3 from your ‘spouse’s’ account as well?
how many returns should we factor into the equation? i often buy and then cancel, every once in a while i even cancel in time to spare the Meh. support staff from doing real customer support work.

@dave THANKS!
@dave Is that including the cheapest option for days with multiple or is it just a 0 for those days?

Meanwhile, interesting trends. I’ll have to study then more closely later.

@username I have a website http://www.mehstalker.com, I just ran the queries in the backend of the database
trend seems to be ticking up each year.
Bring back cheap crap/impulse buys!!
It would cost you at least one marriage. No one should have to put up with all that crap.

@Yoda_Daenerys
you’re doing it wrong, I often blame myself for not buying it soon enough and letting it sell out
