Hey @thumperchick... It's been a while since my lowly robot devil hands had the pleasure of playing trivia with you... Please come back soon... I miss you lots!
Why did I listen to the whole song?

@Thumperchick

(also, it is a great song)
@curtise
@Thumperchick So you're telling me there's a chance!!
@curtise
@curtise Hey, pop into IRC DWC, if you have minute?
@Thumperchick I had fallen asleep. :( I'll try and find you there (on Rizon, right?)
@curtise If you're around, I'm here for a bit - http://client00.chat.mibbit.com/?channel=%23deals.woot&server=rizon.mibbit.org
@Thumperchick Apparently you logged out ten minutes before I got there.

I'll try again when I get home from dinner tonight... :-)

@SSteve Yesss! logged in just to up vote. Fro-tastic, pre-plastic (surgery).
Never thought I would say this..ever...but I kinda hoped the "want you back" song would be:
@ABitterWoman Boy bands . . . back . . . (my daughter is now 32, so she was just the right age when this silliness was happening) :
@joelmw Haha, yes. I'm 30 so even if I wasn't into it at the time, it's seared into my memory. My condolences if you had to listen to this on repeat.
@ABitterWoman I did. Sigh. So many of their songs taking up valuable space in my head. The things we do for love. So the way I see it, I endured the Bay City Rollers for my big sister and Backstreet Boys for my daughter. That's some nasty stuff, but they're both totally worth it. :-)
Great "I want you" song. This is a really creepy version, and totally worth it for the line "I'm a cross-dressing, homosexual pacifist with a spot on my lung?"
@joelmw
@joelmw You were right. I do like creepy. That was an odd but entertaining video. And the song was kinda catchy.
@ABitterWoman This makes me happy. I knew it. :-) So I'm a big fan of the song. It's part of the Beatles genius (I don't claim to be an expert and I don't love all of their music, but I think some of it is spectacularly good). I haven't seen Across the Universe yet, but this is convincing me that I need to. Anyway, I love the way something can mean both good and evil, depending on how it's contextualized. The video also evokes the musical Hair for me.
@joelmw I just listened to that with headphones (for the umpteenth time in my life). What an awesome bass part.
@joelmw That was kind of creepily great. Thanks for sharing.
@Thumperchick I like to think that "creepily great" is one of the things I do--well, on a good day, great. You're welcome. And @SSteve: yep.
