I have as my Two main pillows, One is a nice fat bamboo pillow, the other is a nice contour pillow for my neck. One lays on top of the other. I am a side sleeper.
I have some firm pillows, some fluffy, and some that are almost flat. I can’t figure out which one works best for me, so I alternate through them as I hope that eventually one of them will help relieve my neck aches.
I only use cervical pillows anymore. After waking up with neck pain way too often, I bought one and I love the thing. I have 2 and switch them out when I feel one isn’t quite comfortable anymore. Then after a week or 2 I swap them again.
For some reason, those descriptors seem to evoke the image of a different type of pillows in my mind.

@kuoh Dare I mention that the act of repositioning certain things during installation of a corset is sometimes called “fluffing the pillows”?
/showme firm fluffy and almost flat
@mediocrebot It’s like a weird grey candy bar
@DLPanther @mediocrebot I was reminded of cheesecake.

Comfortable for me which means I don’t sink in too far (side sleeper), is high enough, but doesn’t feel like sleeping on a rock.

I’m a side sleeper.
I prefer goose feather pillows.
They’re always down for a nap.
@Pavlov
You are really on a roll lately!
Love it!!
@chienfou Someone said I kneaded to rise to the occasion.
@Pavlov I don’t think I’ve heard your jokes before, but your name sure rings a bell.

/showme a pile of catshirts being used as a pillow
@mediocrebot Oh, definitely that!
Very fortunate you did not omit the “r” in “catshirts”
With feathers, still waiting for another sale of those here
I prefer down pillows that are fluffy yet firm, with a high fill power and loft.
No feathers! I’m allergic. Breathing I know is overrated but I’ve gotten used to it
@ironcheftoni It’s habit-forming, you know.
Soft
I don’t remember… I’ve been sleeping in a recliner for years now, don’t use a pillow…
I want one to be somewhat firm but flat and then a down pillow that is on top that is fluffy and foldable.
Flirm.

Oversized down pillow. You can mash it into any shape or firmness.
@blaineg yes, several of them! If I could afford it, would be a “gaggle of goose down,” but some feather blends are good too.
@narfcake, did someone say cat pillows?
@pmarin Pretty!
Springy, to sink into.
Refrigerated
