Can you post the brand name or model number to help us help you?
@mike808 my guess, on the first page of the directions where it shows a picture of the watch, there will be a picture of the charger which does not match either charger displayed in the photo.
!!
My guess is the thing you’re holding connects to the watch on the side not shown, the side shown connects to the charging cable to the right.
Is the side not shown some clip? open the clip and look if it has connectors, if so clip it to the watch accordingly.
Good luck!
@mwgm
The two gold prong things in the red circles have to connect to each other somehow but it’s like they don’t want to fit that way. The directions make it seem like I got charges that are not for it.
@mwgm
@Star2236 It being from an IRK haul that is probably the case. The watch is too wide for the clip to connect to it. If you’re up to it I’d just get a dremel and sand off the plastic parts (or better yet, remove the clip altogether if possible, should be easier) thus exposing the contacts. Then try to charge the watch. The current/voltage is probably the same.
Other way would be to buy the charger online, but where’s the fun in that??
ps- you can also try heating a knife over the gas fire then “cut” the plastic parts (it’ll melt).
@mwgm @Star2236 Of course buying another charger online has its own risks as the watch may not work anyway. At least you have nothing to lose trying to jury rig the charger.
@Star2236
Thanks, I was thinking of trying something like that.
Can it go like this somehow:
@eonfifty
I’m a girl, want something more sleek and simple not bulky and in your face.
@Star2236
Do you know how to solder? You could make a charger as sleek as you like.
/giphy 5 volts 2 contacts
@eonfifty
I’m pretty handy for a girl but soldering is one thing I never got the hang of in high school.
@Star2236
It might be good to give it another try. It just requires a little patience, and it’s a handy skill to have.
