Yes, they were silly. Wasn’t that the point? Is Meh actually trying to take itself seriously at the same time that it coughs up hairballs like those penwhistlelightopenerglassbreakers?
Making fun of real model numbers got old after a few years so we allowed for made up model numbers which was funny for a while. We’re back to basics here — so I guess that’s a yes… taking it seriously.
@werehatrack silly is fun within an irreverent underdog context — a silly subsidiary brand of a trillion dollar enterprise is inherently less fun. It’s still silly though.
@snapster@werehatrack I like the Meh model – youse guys give both your staff and your customers the opportunity to put both the fun and the mental (and sometimes even the “duh”) into ye olde fundamental business model.

@snapster Taking it seriously!! Is this Wootazon?
@yakkoTDI if nothing else, they mastered silly.
@snapster They imitated it. They have yet to achieve mastery.

[I would have said “y’all”, but https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=youse guys ; who the heck they, anyhow? Damyankees.]
I’d like them back - a little brainless funny puzzle at the end of the product listing was a nice little tradition.
Better than those monkey chats in the woot emails …
