Easy timers for keeping track of things at work and my other one provides a detailed course map, pin location on the green, tracks my clubs and distance, and automatically keeps score on the course.
I am a “Open Box” Apple, series 9 smart watch, I would chose the 1st 4 choices!. BTW due to the Fact it is an Open Box watch I paid around 1/2 of what the new one sells for!
I used to have a smart warxh for several years but I prefer analog watches now. Also I find it incredibly distracting to see other people constantly checking their smart watch during time that should be device free (like church, small group discussions, or meetings at work)
@mbersiam
It’s bc people have no respect anymore. I remember when I got suspended from school for a week for having a pager (not that it went off in class, I just got caught with it.) kids don’t even know what that is nowadays lol.
Just bc we have these type of things available to us doesn’t mean we need to be on them all the time.
When Verizon’s service went down last week (I wasn’t effected where I live, so I read about it the next day) I’m sure people lost their shit. No phone for an entire day, what did people do with out games lol
I really liked my Martian watch from here years ago. And analog face with a digital display for text messages. Unfortunately it died during a battery change.
I need to start wearing mine again. It was bothering my wrist while I slept with it so I took a break from it and that was a long while ago. I just keep forgetting to put it back on.
I don’t have one.

It gives me an excuse to be tired by saying I didn’t get enough quality sleep.
@NapkinEater ME TOO! Sorry for yelling, but my hearing diminishes when I am tired, so I start yelling.
I only use my el-cheapo smart crap watch for sleep monitoring. It’s not very good, so I don’t trust it very much, but I don’t want to pay more.
My best one was the 1st gen Pebble, but the battery died on me. Maybe I will fix it … someday.

It tells me my blood sugar, which is great, as I’m a Type 1 diabetic who loves to know if if it’s rising or crashing, e.g….
@mehvid1 i have a t1d daughter. She has a pump and a cgm but not a smart watch… just is always connected to her phone like a third arm
My phone is always on silent. My watch buzzes, telling me who is calling, showing me received text, and notifying me of many other pieces of info.
I have a Fitbit Alta, so it’s only semi-smart, but I like the sleep tracking feature.
So I ca find where I left my phone…
@Narn This!

@chienfou I was going to mention the Martian watch but I couldn’t recall if they were from Woot or here, thanks
I don’t know where mine is, ATM.
ALL the above.

Smart watch not permitted in SCIF. Analog Omega Seamaster is EDW.
@accelerator Seam aster? What is that?
@therealjrn sorry, I don’t understand the context of your joke.
@accelerator I was just being silly and changing the pronunciation of Seamaster.
It wasn’t my best work, I can admit that.
@therealjrn Now if you had said “see my ass yet” … ok still not quite right
