I laughed way too much at this.
15I’m probably a bad person.

Tire slasher leaves finger behind.
The Jalopnik comments have a lot of gold.

That’s definitely, uh, car-ma.
It’s actually pretty funny article.
Tire slashing is best done only with fixed, or sturdy lock blade knives.
Be wary of the common “Swiss Army” style folding knife. If you aren’t very careful, it invariably will fold, unexpectedly (tire sidewalls are pretty tough), and you might just cut off your finger.
I’d wager that’s exactly what happened out in Arizona…
@ELJAY Apparently, Florida Man was on a vacation to the desert…
@ELJAY @shahnm The dehydration messed up his thinking.
@ELJAY @yakkoTDI Well it is a dry heat, as they say…
I had someone slash a tire of mine on prom day. But it wasn’t a big deal. I just told my dad that my tire was flat (because I thought that was all it was at the time) and he came up and changed it. Later that day the perpetrator made a comment to me and I just looked at them like they were dumb. I guess it would have been a big deal in their house shrug
Bet you were a big Lorraine Bobbit fan?
@Felton10 I think you meant Lorena.
@mike808 See-some else remembers her also-even better than me.
@Felton10 @mike808 Well I’m sure John Wayne Bobbit remembers it pretty f***ing well. Having your turtlenecked bishop jerked off your body and over a mile away from your body and then 9.5 hours of surgery to reattach it wood be hard-on top of the fact that you are definitely newly single. Did you know he starred in an adult film later on called “John Wayne Bobbit: Uncut”
@Felton10 @mike808 @rogerbacon yeah, and didn’t she get found “not guilty by reason on insanity” so never served any time?
I understand the not sending people to jail for mental issues… But I’m not a big fan of the wording. To me it should be “guilty by reason of insanity”… I mean, she clearly did it so she’s guilty of it… If she’s really insane, she shouldn’t have gone to jail or face punishment, of course… But to me saying she’s “not guilty” is wrong.
Semantics.
FWIW, I also think such a verdict, even when it is “temporary insanity”, should restrict such a person from ever owning a firearm and require semi-annual evaluations for life. Sure, you may have been temporarily insane and normally OK, but if it happened to you once it could happen again, your well-being (and safety of those who will encounter you) needs to be monitored.
@Felton10 @mike808 @OnionSoup Restricted from firearms, kitchen knives, and cigar cutters - the dick guillotine
I love Jalopnik comments but I can never read them anymore because they never load…
Man I have a craving for some Wendy’s all of a sudden, can’t put my finger on what’s causing it though.
I wonder what removing valve stems, but leaving each next to the tire would be? Not theft as nothing is being stolen. Tires are flat but no damage
