I just realized I never properly introduced myself.
15I have been shopping and chatting here on Meh for years and I never bothered to tell y’all about me…whoops.
My name is Patrick; my fursona’s name is Mac. (He’s the pooltoy wolf.) I’m 32, male, swing both ways, and never outgrew my childhood. I unironically love Thomas the Tank Engine, but not the newest ones. I collect and love playing with vintage electronics like radios and TVs, Nintendo video games, railroad and aviation stuff, and cute inflatable animals. Mac, my fursona, is a PVC vinyl blow up wolf toy whose colors are based on the CSX railroad’s locomotives. He and I both love hugs. Have questions? Feel free to ask! I don’t bite. Usually.

I think you’ve talked about driving real trains? Do you still do that?
@Kyeh Whenever given the opportunity, yes! It’s been a while, though.
@PooltoyWolf So it wasn’t a job? Must be exciting, in any case!
@Kyeh So far, not a paid position. Maybe one day!
@Kyeh @PooltoyWolf
Where on earth does one go (more specifically, you) to drive trains for fun? I’ve never heard of anything like that, then again, I don’t even have a alter ego!
@Kyeh @Lynnerizer Some museums offer throttle time, though I have connections that allow me more opportunities than the average person.
@Kyeh @PooltoyWolf
Very cool! In CT, for entertainment we have the Essex Steam. Waaaay back, 30+ years ago when everyone’s kids were little we’d do the Christmas & haunted Halloween train rides. What a blast that was! I’ve always wanted to do one of those murder mystery dinners, don’t think it matters IF it’s on a train or not. Still trying to get my interested, he’s NOT so much into it. Toot toot!

@Kyeh @Lynnerizer I love stuff like this! We just lost our only local tourist train, the Orlando & Northwestern, due to COVID. :C
A former partner of mine was big into the furry stuff. He made a fair amount of money doing commissions for fursona art.
@DoctorOW That’s cool!
Nice to meet you
@Seeds -shakes paw-
@PooltoyWolf haha good boy
@Seeds UwU
How long have you had a fursona?
@callow I’ve been a furry for 20 years now, and got my fursona about 2006-ish? I think?
Nice to meet you Patrick. I’m Elizabeth.
@moonhat Nice to meet ya!

@tinamarie1974 Howdy!
We loved you before we knew you this well.
Now we love you more. : )
@f00l Awwwww
How often does Mac get to come out and play (normal times instead of now)?
I always like your fun pictures! I learned a bit during your goat month.
@speediedelivery Mac usually is most active at this time of year, when it’s cooler outside! He’s happiest with ambient temperatures below about 70°F. I need to bring him out again…I’m starting to miss him. Also, I’m glad you enjoyed my time as Goat! I’m always happy to post more fun pictures, too.
@PooltoyWolf Follow up- how did you create/choose Mac? I know very little about fursonas - I hope I am not being rude.
@speediedelivery You’re not being rude at all XD Mac is based on the colors used by CSX on their diesel railroad locomotives. He is modeled after former CSX EMD SD80MAC number 4590, actually. I’ve always loved wolves, trains, and inflatables, so I combined them all together by creating a fursona who is a blow up wolf colored like a train.
Merry Meet
While I do not have a fursona, my spirit animals are the wolf and the raven.
@Cerridwyn I consider myself connected to the wolf, as well.
