They are not related (he is a rescue from Franklin Square, NY and she a rescue from Morris Park in the Bronx). In fact, I had no idea that Diva looked so much like Sammy until we picked her up.

Ok I’m enjoying my new sparkly misfit fitness band, but I seem to have no “friends” on the Swarovski app I’m using. Anyone have a profile and want to be my friend?
The good news is that even though I don’t want to set up one of the fitness bands which I got, I can still use Google Fit.
The neutral news is that the Android app wants a ridiculous amount of permissions upon installation (instead of asking for them on an as-needed basis)), though that is easily rectified by manually adjusting the permissions after installation.
The bad news though would be that my lack of exercise would be easily seen…

Despite being able to use Google Fit instead of a Misfit band, and even though the tracking in Google Fit works fine on its own, the app doesn’t seem to want to show that activity.
Which is odd, since certain apps which I used in the past, which would do stuff based on Fit activity, would work fine.

And the Speedo Shine 2 is ringing up at $15 with the code. That’s an amazing price if you want to give it a try. You can get a set of pretty orange and blue bands for $7.50. No guarantees on the app working forever though, unlike Meh and Martian.
@Kidsandliz The crystals will be Wonder Woman bracelets, and the swimmer Shine will be a Power Pendant. The extra bands will get decorated as inspiration strikes.
@moonhat@OldCatLady I stick with the plain old plasticy waterproof bands but I did order a set of blue and orange ones for my Shine 2’s. The Shine 2 bands won’t fit the crystals.
I gave my daughter the choice of anything in my collection- she chose a dark gray tracker with an orange band. I can’t believe she passed up sparkles. They make rainbows on the ceiling of my car when it’s sunny.
@OldCatLady The Shine 2 is a fair amount bigger in diameter so if it’s the halo for Shine 2, no. I think the crystal needs its own special accessories, which is probably why it’s ten bucks instead of the original 100. Maybe the bundles will go on sale if you want a sparkly band- they have been 25% off.

The Swarovski app was last updated for Android in 2016. While the Misfit app was last updated near the end of April 2018.
In addition, the Misfit app has 3.2 stars from 18,472 people, while Swarovski has 2.5 stars from 89 people.
