I bought these and it never charged up. I thought they’d send me another pair, but they refunded me the money. This is cheaper, but I’m not going to bother. I found a bunch of other earbuds from Meh of better quality that I forgot I had.
@Fuzzalini I had a different model from HSPRO that wouldn’t charge if the earbuds were in the case. Take them out, charge the case, put them in to charge the earbuds. Kind of annoying but they were cheap here so…
@Fuzzalini I had a similar experience. The right ear works and the left doesn’t They refunded me as well. I am tempted… but they don’t seem to have a good reliability record.
Is that a micro USB charging port I see? Those were the worst. Also, I think this is the same thing (out of stock, different color) on Amazon: https://a.co/d/hLHEyg5
@altoidbox Micro USB got a lot of flak but honestly for what it is, it’s not bad at all if you don’t abuse the cables and connectors. USB-C is an improvement, though.
@PooltoyWolf I’d take mini USB over micro USB for almost any application. Maybe some thin phones needed the small space savings, but certainly not most things.
@altoidbox It had its flaws but it wasn’t ‘the worst’. I don’t know why so many people had problems with it. Am I just nicer to my equipment than the vast majority of users? Micro USB was made smaller than Mini USB for space reasons, yes, and this was widely taken advantage of. The connector is much smaller internally as well as externally.
@altoidbox I also forgot that yes, they use Micro USB, so I had to swap cables to charge them. I need to read closer before buying things. But as they never charged up, and I threw them away, not an issue anymore.
