Just realized I haven’t done mine since July and I’m probably due to hack some off. I cut my son’s every couple months when it starts to look shaggy. Just got finished at 11:30 as a matter of fact, and was saying how I needed a new trimmer because my Meh Trym died. Now I’m creeped out because Meh is stalking me.

Last time anyone else cut my hair, it was very long. Afterward, I told the shop owner, where I’d never been before, that I’d be back. She said, “No you won’t.” Truer words were never spoken; I have been cutting my own ever since.
About once a month until March 2020. Short (#2 guard sides and back, slightly longer on the top), zero maintenance cut for about twenty years. I didn’t own a comb.
Then this stuff happened. I’ve had two slight trims, mostly to even it out. After suffering through a few months of Boris Johnson last year it’s now down to my shoulders.
I cut my own hair, since if I pay someone to do it, I expect it to look fantastic, and it never does. So if something sticks out, I cut it off. And by that reckoning, I cut my hair about once a week.
I trim the short “baby hairs” on the back of my neck every few weeks. I haven’t cut the rest of my hair in a few years but I’m definitely due for a trim. Might just do it myself.
The point when my hair needs to be combed is when it gets buzz cut.
@Rueki Until we had children, neither my wife nor I owned a hairbrush or comb, except for one for the cat.
@Rueki Same here. If I have to pay attention to it, it’s too long.
Whenever I get too much wildlife living in it.

@PocketBrain Be gone with that abomination! One of the worst thongs about that horrible trilogy.
My lady always tries to pre-book me and it never goes right. I don’t know what my life is going to be like in 6 weeks lady!
2 or 3 times a year
I remember hair.
From the answers, it looks like most Mehizens are men.
Shaving and haircuts are for non wizards

I grow my hair til it’s at least 20" then donate it. About every 3 1/2 years or so.
Before undercut, I’d get a hair cut maybe two or three times a year.
After undercut, I trim down the sides maybe once a month. More if I’m trying to convince myself to grow it all out again.
Didn’t cut the longer section of hair for a year though.
Since sometime in 2015, I haven’t.
Once every year to year and a half.
My stylist always says “so what’s the special occasion?”. That’s about right. Weddings, funerals, and business trips.

About every 4 months

When I get it cut I swear I’m going to keep it trimmed. So, yea. About 18 months.
Shaved by me? About every other day. Done by a professional? Not since 2004
@smyle My answer is literally almost the same except I started in 2006.
When it gets annoying. Or when I look like Shaggy.
I shave this lovely dome 3-4 times a week.
Every 6 weeks.
I’m actually going today.

Are you really that bored that you want to know about my hair ? I don’t even keep track of my haircut timeline.
Roughly 2 or 3 times a year. Usually around July and November with an occasional cut around Springtime.
When I start closing it in the car door or sunroof it’s time for a few inches to go.
Every Sunday night before work
Not since before the pandemic. It is way too long now.
