@macromeh
Eh, I can get all OffMyLawn when it suits me, but I’m way too commie for a lot of my age cohort, and I don’t really hang with too many people in that range.
@jtcrawford25@werehatrack Not me. My work coffee is either in my 11.5 oz. enamel VW mug or my 24 oz. skeleton themed** Tervis. I am not leaving those anywhere. The Tervis is for when I brew my own coffee instead of partaking in the really, really good for free coffee that work provides.
**I would love to get at least one more 24 oz. Tervis with this design and some of the 16 oz. sized in this design. I will have to upload a picture once I am back in the office.
I drink one cup before leaving for work and then sip on my 16oz flask for the rest of the day. It’s still too hot to drink fast 6 hours later so that paces my intake.
@kittykat9180 Exactly! When I lived in the Netherlands I was basically expected to drink it so I drowned it in milk. I was then told I was drinking it like a child. Umm if kids hate it why make them drink it either? I also hate tea.
Back when I was a barista, literally the only perk (ha) or benefit I got was all the free drip I wanted. It kept me there a lot longer than it should have.
I worked an early shift at a restaurant when I was a teen. I started drinking coffee with about 3 of those creamer pods and 3 packets of sugar in an old-style ️ coffee cup. Gradually I cut back and then eliminated the sugar, but my coffee addiction started then and remains. Only 1 mug a day, though, but I love the smell!
In the last year I’ve had coffee twice, so I guess my answer is 0.00548 times a day?
@awk
I’ve had a cup of coffee twice in my entire life, so that puts me at .00008086 per day.
There are probably some here whose rate is precisely zero.
Urp. I did not notice the Intel-ishness of that figure until just now. I swear I am not an AI.
@awk @werehatrack
(2 / .00008086) / 365 ~= 68 years. Really?
@awk @macromeh Sigh. Yes. Really.
@werehatrack (I’m not that far behind you. )
I was only surprised because your online persona struck me as younger.

Depends on my mood. It can be anywhere fro 0 to 10 cups** a day.
**I consider a cup to be 10 ounces.
@yakkoTDI lol, i’ve started pouring my cups short, more like 7 ounces, that said, I usually have 3 1/2
@jtcrawford25 @yakkoTDI So you’re the one who keeps leaving those half-cups of coffee perched on the cubbicle partitions at the end of the day, eh?

Really depends on the day, which is set by the night before.
None. An IV hooked to the coffee pot prevents the inconvenience of getting up for your coffee.
Morning doubleshots
Weigh, grind and press espresso
A Monster later
I get my caffeine via chocolate. Provided it is decent chocolate that tastes far better than coffee. And I hate the smell of coffee too.
@Kidsandliz, the smell and the taste. Both awful.
@kittykat9180 Exactly! When I lived in the Netherlands I was basically expected to drink it so I drowned it in milk. I was then told I was drinking it like a child. Umm if kids hate it why make them drink it either? I also hate tea.
@Kidsandliz, I love tea. My favorite is chai and Moroccan mint.
Never because I gave up caffeine during this pandemic. Although still drink a cup on weekends.
@kshayabusa, so then not never.

One 20 Oz cup as soon as my feet hit the floor. Consists of apprx 5 Oz milk, 4 Oz flavored creamer, 9 Oz coffee. The first few sips are heavenly.
