@plastrd no, because in case of fire/active shooter, you could pick up your laptop and run... Granted... If it's your WORK PC... you may want to throw it at the fire/use it as a shield... but...
@plastrd This used to be my setup. That was when I was willing to sacrifice some power and storage, and to carry around a beast that had whatever maxes of power and storage and screen real estate I could find (at Dell).
Now I'm content with a pricey workstation and an iPad. I think that combo works much better for me. And the iPad weighs a lot less.
My work PC is a laptop that is docked all day with external monitors and keyboard/mouse. Does that technically make it a desktop?

Saw the Tues. daily double of the Toshiba Chrome-book refurbs. I'd shy away as even the NEW Toshiba stuff I've purchased craped out quick!
