In our family we do way too many. Immediate family, nieces, nephews, and kids of that generation. That is why everyone 7-30 is getting 40 cent fidget spinners. Yea!. Of course that doesn’t cover everyone, but it sure helps.
There are about 30 in my immediate and extended family, and about 50 total. I don’t hate gift-giving though. I hate not having enough room under the tree for all those boxes! Seriously, they’re everywhere. They’re on my barstools. They’re on the couch. Some haven’t yet arrived…where am I gonna put them?!
I’ve had a plan for years of getting a couple shoe boxes and a couple large boxes that have lids like that, then just decorate say 10 boxes once and for all, explain that you just LIFT THE TOP OFF and DON’T TEAR THE PAPER. It seems better than gift bags, somehow…
I usually give a bottle of something fermented to my immediate colleagues. It’s a way of simultaneously celebrating working together, and helping forget that we do!
I pretty much only buy for the immediate family. I might make cookies for my co-workers, but that’s about it. Oh, and I’ll buy a gift for my friend that is throwing a holiday party.
6 staff, 6 nieces & nephews, in-laws, mother, wife, brother, sister-in-law, and a few grab bags, and at 20 without trying. That doesn’t even count December birthdays, which the question technically includes.
13 immediate family, plus 2 friends.

You obviously have severely underestimated the size of my family.

Meh. The zucchini thing was funnier.

I’ve never done it though.
Everyone who lives in my house gets something, so that’s four. Everyone else can pound sand.

Just the kids. And grandkids, and nephews under 12 (no nieces) = 9.
I am buying for 6 this year. My sis and bro in-law, my bro, my dad, my house-mate and my 2 dogs. I am excited about Christmas !!!

I found a gift I need a person for.
