Based on the poll question and the skew towards the negative end of the spectrum, I expect to see a run of fitness equipment for sale in the near future. While not traditional, I'd like the editors of Meh to know the Wii Fit can be used for fitness. Remember, when selling fitness equipment, the focus should be more on the potential fitness use and less on the actual fitness use of said fitness equipment.
Considering the number of negative answers with the majority of Meh-ple I suggest Meh offer a five-star health insurance plan at a "daily deal site" price.
I have perfect health. I can chew my food to very small chunks that can easily be swallowed. I work on this 5 or 6 times a day. I combine my stretching with chewing. Then it's very important to do cool down chewing with soft cheese or mush. I don't need these foolish items food just gets stuck under them, unsanitary. I take a pass
I am a physical god and you shall all bow before me!
Not really, I'm in pretty good shape. I don't run very much but I lift regularly in the AM and do the occasional cardio workout in the afternoon when I'm not feeling like my 12 hour workday did me in. I've gained a little weight recently while trying to meet my current lifting goal. I'll most likely have to spend January undoing that.
Always had trouble losing weight. Mostly because I don't like typically "healthy" food. Hate salads, love bacon. B A C O N!!! Now it turns out my enemy is carbs not fat. Was educated about the falacy about how we've been raised in this country about what's good for us. I've been using a Keto-based diet for the last few months and now I'm no longer considered "morbidly obese". While I could move, breath, and be relatively active with my kids I was still seriously overweight. I lost 35 lbs. in about 3 months. Now down a total of about 90 lbs. So, I could stand to be a little healthier. But I'm happy where I'm at for now. Will be back on track in January. It's meh life.
@HutcH same here. carbs bad, good fat good. i was keto for probably close to a year. lost about 104 lbs in that time. after that year, i was no longer keto, but still doing low carb (<50g per day). i've managed to keep the weight off for the last 1.5 years. health wise, i just did a moderate hike this past sunday (1300 ft elevation gain in 1.3 miles). didn't even get winded.
added bonus: i love meat so i bought 1/4 of an organic, free range cow. delicious and loads of good saturated fat!
About a year back I was in great shape and had really good habits. Then, some life got in the way and have not resumed those. I'm not totally off the reservation, but physical activity is definitely limited.
My biggest problem is sleeping. I'm waking up WAY too early in the morning (4-5am) which leaves me too tired to do anything then, or after my day ends. So, a pretty poor cycle. If I could fix my limited sleep pattern, I'd be much better off.
@Lotsofgoats Oh yeah, that would be lots of fun. 38 miles each way to and from work, pretty much all highway where bikes aren't allowed. Not quite realistic for me.
@cinoclav "only" 23 miles for me, and on 2-lane 60mph roads with no shoulders. And there are these things here we call "seasons" which make about 5 months out of the year completely unsuitable for bike riding.
@Lotsofgoats I'm in ok shape because I walk ~4mi/day. Biking would be prohibitively expensive, and on top of that if I can walk a route I'd prefer to for enjoyment's sake. I'd like to get back into biking more, as I know it'd be better for me, but other than fitness, it just isn't making sense…
Last fall I started walking with some of the other moms after dropping our kids off at school. The last mom just bailed on me. Now it's just me and my Sphero Stevie Johnson. Stevie doesn't talk a lot but he helps me keep going. :(
I was in great shape about a year ago, and then I decided to go back to school, and continue working two jobs. I got to get back into shape, it was so easy last time.
How do I feel about my physical condition? I'm old. It sucks. If Meh is planning to sell something that will make me 40 years younger, I'm in. Lame exercise equipment - not so much.
Long boring story. Breast cancer twice with all of the accompanying joy. Then Type 2 Diabetes. Lost 60 pounds and actually in the best shape In which I've been in a very long.
@MrsPavlov says I feel just fine to her . . .
@Pavlov and usually with your hands?
I am perfect just the way I am, and I could use a little improvement.
(I should have stuck with Irk's fitness challenge a bit longer than I did...)
Yes you could, it's better than sitting.
Instead of calling me Beast mode like Marshawn Lynch, they call me Obese Mode
It's not a disaster yet
but pretty close to it
This should sum it up nicely:
@Thumperchick But you've got that lovely glow
@cranky1950 That's sweat. The "blush" is because I can't breath.
@Thumperchick So who's the cranky one now. Hide the mirrors and bask in your preggo hottieness
I on the other hand am turning into an animated raisin
@cranky1950 I heard it on the grapevine

@elimanningface On the other hand, maybe we'll just cater to the crowd and sell ice cream makers.
@dave and sofa cushions, because we're probably wearing out the ones we have.
How I feel Minus the treadmill

@mynamesam94 or perhaps a weight loss or muscle miracle pill that is taking < insert town here > by storm! Doctors would be furious!
Blasted clickbaits ads...
I finally got around to getting in shape. Then... after ALL THAT WORK... My doctor tells me that "round" is the wrong shape.

I'm in good shape only because I like my bike commute
ps everybody should commute by bike
@Lotsofgoats i'd love to commute by bike. can you come over and put my bike together? it's still in the box from when i won it 2 years ago.
also, can you make it stop raining?
@carl669 no
no
@Lotsofgoats

@smyle Yes, we used to have 4 seasons. Now it seems like it's just summer and winter. Currently it's winter but it feels like summer.
@cinoclav @smyle idk I live in NY and I just made them cancel winter
so far it's working

@Lotsofgoats Quit it! I'm headed to Tremblant the end of January and then to New Hampshire the end of February. I'd like some snow please!
I really wish it could be better, but it looks like there is nothing that can be done. -sigh-

@sammydog01 You should upgrade to the BB8. At least he talks.
@cinoclav I just ordered one. I hope he likes me.

This about sums it up.
@connorbush
@cinoclav initially, I was searching for a gif; however, it was to no avail.
