@DMlivezey don't know about everybody else, but I'm just plain cheap. I could care less about the Fuku hoopla. (I prefer to throw my own garbage out, not Meh's toss outs. Or at a minimum, to decide for myself what cheap crap I want to hoard.)
So I cancel virtually every time when VMP auto-renews. Only to turn it back on a few days/couple weeks later to buy something - hoping to amortize it down with a second+ purchase during that VMP cycle. (In fact, it is this VMP policy/feature that pushes me over the mental speed bump that would normally absolutely block me from all online subscription firehoses. @snapster clever.)
I'm curious as to when (and why) I started being taxed on my VMP. I'm not a Texas resident, and per the agreement "you authorize us to charge you a monthly membership fee (plus sales tax for Texas residents)".... ??
@vmkhaze looking at your profile you aren’t here much and are not a Very Mediocre Person so you don’t need to cancel your membership because you don’t have one.
@vmkhaze VMP hasn’t been available for enrollment for a long time, you possibly signed up for the new Membership program but you are currently showing as not signed up…unless you have another account that you might have signed up with.
You can always reach support at meh.com/support and they can help you out.
Go to your account, VMP Membership, edit, cancel.
edit: It looks like you aren't a VMP member anyway, so... moot.
@thumperchick. I think we got this one ;) @daveunsocal has it right. if that is giving you issues contact support. :)
after fuku, every body wants to know how to cancel, so t-o'd, Meh...

(Don't know what happened there - it started out as a couple sentence response!)

@stevenmontes if you live in cali it is because they hired someone in cali and so now they have to charge cali tax.
Looks like they need to update that piece of text to read (plus sales tax for Texas and California residents).
Smoke some dope... get drunk and click the button
I can’t seem to find it on my account page. I cant find it listed anywhere that im VMP. How do i cancel?
@vmkhaze You don’t have a VMP icon so you’re probably not VMP. Do you get a $5 charge every month?
@vmkhaze looks like you’ve never been vmp. Do you have another account?
@vmkhaze if you do have any sort of membership it can be canceled at meh.com/membership/cancel

@Ignorant it says im not a member yet I keep getting charged.
@sammydog01 yup
@bleedmichigan i check meh every day. i’m just not a forum person. I bought VMP membership a few months ago and get charged for it monthly.
@vmkhaze Weird. There’s a little envelope under What is Meh at the top of the page to contact customer service. They should be able to fix it.
@vmkhaze
And
/giphy Nice to meet you!
@bleedmichigan @vmkhaze Maybe it was using another account?
