@houck Unless you were ordering something when you changed the information, it won't get saved (at least that's the way it was back when I tried it a month ago). You might want to check what it shows now rather than get a surprise when you are hurrying to complete a purchase.
Thanks for asking about this, @fury! I'm in the same boat. Can we get some confirmation on this? (Also, does a VMP indicator show up next to my name? I don't see it myself but am wondering if others see something different.)
@jose602 no news. Had to buy something to change it.
I do not see a vmp indicator by your name. Did you subscribe, and keep it active? If your card is expired, it can't renew and your vmp status would be removed until you buy something again.
@fury Hm, I was subscribed to VMP but I had to cancel the card associated with my account here & I think I forgot to change it. I just purchased the headphones of last week's 2-for-Tuesday and used the card that replaced the one I canceled. I wasn't charged $5 for shipping (yay!) but I also don't seem to be a VMP members with all the perks, bells, & whistles that go with it (boo!). Thanks for letting me know, though!
@jose602@fury last time I needed to change my card, I bought the item on sale for the day, added new card and deleted old card, completed the purchase then immediately cancelled the order.
@jose602 We can talk specifics if you shoot us a support email (https://meh.com/support), but your VMP wasn't able to renew in April. You can re-enroll at https://mediocre.com/vmp with your new card, or if you make a new purchase you can select VMP instead of $5 shipping.
So no way to change credit card info for the VMP other than buying something, buying and canceling an order, or canceling existing VMP and starting a new one?
You can change your credit card during checkout, while ordering. There isn't currently a way to change it outside of that screen, yet.
I figured it out... You change it by highlighting the current card info and then type in the new card over that.

Is this still true? I got a new credit card (thanks to another suspected data breach), and want to ensure that my VMP is uninterrupted.

@jc283 You can always contact Support and see if they can work out something for you.
If you call your credit card company and say you lost your card they are usually happy to change your credit card.
