@tinamarie1974 I’m allergic to molds. There are molds that thrive in cold weather, hot weather, dry weather, rainy weather, and nearly every other kind of weather. So far, I’ve been at least kind of allergic to nearly all of them.
After waking up from a benadryl induced coma, I like to chop up some Claritin-D (the good stuff you need to sign for) cut it with some zyrtec, and snort it off of an in-shape buttocks. I “flush the toilet” with afrin and a chaser of flonase.
Mid day I take an a 24 hour alegra, another 24 hour zyrtec, with, again, more powdered pick-up medicine.
Dinnertime, I need a benadryl to calm down the stimulants, and take a 12 hour zyrtec.
Bedtime: 100mg diphenhydramine.
(Undertaker threw mankind . . . this was sarcasm. But I had to wash the pollen off my windshield this morning and sometimes I feel like doing this routine.)
They used to be very, very bad. Sneezing, wheezing, itching, and snuffling all over the place. But I did allergy shots and they changed my life. It was a big commitment, but well worth it.
take note that diphenhydramine has a score of 3 on the anticholinergic cognitive burden scale which means it’s much more likely to increase the risk of dementia later in life.
allegra is not on the scale at all! highly recommend medicines that do not make you sleepy.
When I was in Grade school, They were quite bad, weeks on end, Spring & Fall. But as I got older they got better. Yes my nose get runny at times. & when I must do Yard work I will now wear a KN-95 mask, Googles & earplugs for the Noise for the lawn mower.
Oh By the Way when I was younger I used most of the Meds out there. So I have also become immune to most of them. even the newer stuff as they are based on the older stuff. So I might get one dose relief, 2nd is 50% or less. Forget a 3rd dose. it is worthless.
So I do feel sorry for all the suffer! I understand. But one piece of advice is have a small roll of toilet paper near by. it is the perfect size.
I sold them on eBay.
I absolutely hate my life from march to May and from August until freezes.
They blow. So does my nose.
Seasonally bad from Jan to Dec

@jsfs @tinamarie1974 Same, and also dust. And dust never sleeps.
I also have the standard pollen allergies, though, and this spring seems especially bad.
Does a seasonal cold count?
Never had any and I am very greatful that I don’t!
I’ve never experienced it, but a lot of that may be down to the region I live in because I never hear anyone else mention it either.
