I have a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and I get my files from svgcuts.com. This is the Christmas Box Cards collection. An envelope file is always included with their cards.
@lisaviolet Even without being the goat, I think my husband is going to blame you for me spending more money. How long does it take you to make a single card (appx) and how many sheets of paper? Last question: what do you do with all those little scraps????
@mikibell For each card, there's a PDF file that lists all the different pieces needed for the card. The poinsettia card needs seven different sheets. Some you'll use most of the cardstock (like the envelope). Some you'll have a lot left over (the middle part of the flowers). How long it takes depends on you. I like to use lots of glitter and glue, so it takes me longer because I have to wait for it to completely dry. The little scraps? Not much you can do with some of them. I toss them. Check out their youtube page (this is a husband and wife team, Leo and Mary, she's a genius at this and he does all of the photography and video - last year they won Martha Stewart's Made In America Contest.) Watch a couple of her tutorials to get an idea of how these are done. https://www.youtube.com/user/svgcuts
@mikibell Oh, and each new kit is free when you spend $9.98 in the store. I add kits to my wishlist, then when I like the new kit, buy stuff I want and get the new kit for free.
@lisaviolet Thank you!! I ask about the little scraps because I feel compulsed to find a use for them.. as my husband does for little pieces of plywood :)
@lisaviolet no only the newest machine allows it. There used to be a way for the old ones to do it but cricut sued the pants off the people who made the software so it is no longer available/they fixed that "bug"
@Teripie I will take that blame. If you have a cutter, go check out the website. She's got some really awesome stuff and her tutorials make everything so easy.
@lisaviolet I have zero crafting ability. I've tried a lot of different things, all with very mediorce successes. No sense in me investing in craft supplies. But thanks for the info.
@tinkertime Yeah, I have a carousel I made (tried modifying it from the original) just sitting in the other room. No place to put it, I have no idea who to dump it on. It's really nice, it would be great for a kid's party. It was fun to make, but what now? So, yeah, I hear ya.
Those are awesome! What do they look like folded down?
@Mavyn Thanks!

@lisaviolet I knew I should have gotten a Silhouette instead of a cricut!
@lisaviolet That is super awesome! Great work! Wow!
@chellemonkey You can use a Cricut. http://svgcuts.com/blog/category/tutorials/how-to-articles/cricut/
@kadagan Thank you. It's really a lot of fun.

@lisaviolet I have an older cricut so not svg for me pouts
@chellemonkey That sucks. And there's no updated software for it?

Really cool!
@jsh139 Thank you!
Wow - they are beautiful! Will they be in my Meh Exchange box? Or on your store?
@hallmikeThanks. I wish I had extras. I might have one left over.
Amazing! I wish I were on your Christmas card list.
They are awesome and I blame you for making me want more craft things that won't get used!

Those are really cool. I love making stuff, but I'm hopeless with paper crafts. I'll just admire yours from afar. :)
Impressive, padawan. Obi-wan has taught you well.
