Hey @zachdecker, thanks for the tangental pizza recommendation several months ago!
3Finally got to Kaiser’s last month after you casually mentioned it in a things-to-do-in-Chicago thread last winter. It was super good.
Better than Quonset, I thought. Maybe not quite as good as the Silo or Nino’s, but those are bread-ier crusts and maybe shouldn’t be compared to a classic thin crust.

@ tags don’t work in the thread title. So uh, @zachdecker - check this thread out!
@Thumperchick Ugh, I had a feeling about that, but then I figured he’d probably see it one way or another, so I did absolutely no checking either way. Thank you!
PS I promise I will learn from this.
Better than Quonset??? HERESY!
@haydesigner I know, I’m a monster.
I do like Kaiser’s, but this past weekend I had Italian Ovens in Grayslake. They were nice for some full on mozzarella pizzas.
I need to figure out where to get pizzas from tomorrow…
@zachdecker You can get pizzas from tomorrow? Wowzer! Can you get me the sports page from tomorrow too?
@therealjrn Papa Murphy’s sells pizza from an hour from now, so that’s a step in the right direction.
@zachdecker Hmm, I’m not usually that far north (or do I mean west? I probably mean northwest). Have you ever been to Pequod’s Pizza in Morton Grove? Their pan pizza is sublime.
