Looks like Pensacola is dodging a direct hit… again. Let’s try something. If you’re hit by Michael and need assistance, food, water, or just stuff, post something here. Let’s see how this works.
@therealjrn Actually, I’m serious. Diapers, clothes, ice, loaning a generator… you know, stuff. I have made it through multiple hurricanes here in Florida. Also numerous blizzards while living in Northern Michigan. Sometimes you run short of stuff even with the best preparations.
@cranky1950 Welp the local doom is upon us weather team has the storm rated as a cat1 storm when it gets to Columbia SC. Which means we should rain and gusting up to 70mph here.
@cranky1950 Jim Cantore is in Panama City, so you should be okay. Local police put out a fake BOLO on him. Stay safe. Jax may get TS conditions tonight, so I’ll put the chairs inside.
I could use some stuff. What have you got?

@Mehrocco_Mole I know. It’s a kind offer, one I hope I’ll never need.
@aetris That is creepy, especially given the time of year.
looks like we’re gonna get a minimal tropical storm here, and that is not good.

Watching a hurricane news broadcast in Panama City. They are at some hotel and the front overhang just collapsed while filming.
Scary stuff. I hope everyone is hunkered down and keeping safe.
It’s wet and icky today.
