Withheld wet food today so they can have it tomorrow as a “treat”. They have dry food on a timer feeder, but try to convince me it’s not good enough for 'em. They win the debate a lot.

You are looking mighty handsome today CharlieDoggo! Hope you enjoyed PB treats and turkey, happy Thanksgiving my furry friend! Gobble gobble
One of our poor babies is spending the holiday with an emergency vet. Can’t wait to get him back. Hopefully Friday. It’s not even like a hospital where you can go visit.
Frustrating because would have avoided a lot of distress for the poor guy (and thousands of dollars) if vet listened to us months ago when we said we thought he had UTI or urinary crystals. (He has both)
Thank you. Got call from vet that everything has been running best-case scenario. No blood in his urine. Removing catheter tonight and assuming he pees by himself he should be free to come home tomorrow morning. We’re actually observing t-day tomorrow instead of today so will be something to be thankful for having him back with us.
@Star2236 No basement, no guests, no turkey, no plans. We’re just quietly taking the day off. I’m trying to stop seething over the cause of the latest post I made in the goat thread, and my S.O. is unwinding from the after-effects of Tuesday evening’s distress by just doing a little cooking that has nothing to do with the traditions of this date.
My pets are all plants so I will water and feed them.
Today’s the day Li’l Gobbler goes to freezer camp!
(I don’t have pets)

Not just turkey, but sweet potato too! Yum. (At least for the dog; not sure the cats would be interested in any orange food that’s not Meow Mx.)
Lots of skritches…
Gets to sleep in their bed while we eat Thanksgiving lunch at a restaurant. Their regular food is good enough. They don’t know it’s some special day.
Letting them bask in the hot Sun with no food or water!! Relax folks, they’re just stupid ROCKS!!
@IndifferentDude
@Kyeh Awww … how cute!!
They got brushed and had all their bedding freshly laundered. (This is a file photo, not post-brushing.)
@SSteve awww I want to give them scratchins, they’re so cute
@SSteve What a great crew! They look like they could be featured in their own movie!
tonight we nap, for tomorrow we feast on delicious scraps
@kerryzero Handsome fellow!
Charliedoggo will be celebrating, as he is part of the family!
@tinamarie1974 Does he get any of the turkey and fixings?
@Kyeh he will def get turkey, some bread and some whipped cream!! . Have to be careful wirh anything beyond rhat because of the ingredients.
@Kyeh Charlie wants to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. He said he is thankful for PB treats
@tinamarie1974 Such a dapper young gentleman!

He WILL be getting Turkey if he’s up for it.
@kerryzero @OnionSoup @tinamarie1974
I hope he and you all have a good belated Thanksgiving!
@kerryzero @OnionSoup @tinamarie1974
YAY! Sending prayers he’s home tomorrow and feeling up for some thanksgiving turkey treats! Enjoy your day!
My wife filled the bird feeder in the back yard. That’s about all we have anymore.
@olperfesser In some places, it can be all the birds have, too.
Blood worms instead of flakes.
@blaineg live ones or freeze dried?
@OnionSoup Just freeze dried. I haven’t messed with live food since I gave up on my marine tank a few years back.
@blaineg What kind of fish do you have? (I’m assuming they’re fish?)
No pets so no problems but problem guest can get put in the basement.

@Star2236 @werehatrack food and togetherness. Something to be thankful for.
I cleverly overcooked the top of the stuffing, so they got to help in the kitchen by having the crunchybits.
