@kittykat9180@yakkoTDI by the way… you mentioned above that you ran out of butter. What we do around here is always keep 2 or 3 boxes in the freezer. It’s like oxygen around here…running out of butter is a nightmare scenario for us!

I had frozen butter but I made 3 batches of cookies a few weeks ago. I have some butter left, but not enough for cookies.
▢ 1 cup Kerrygold salted butter softened
▢ 1 cup granulated sugar
▢ 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
▢ 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
▢ 2 large eggs
▢ 3 cups all-purpose flour (+ 3 TBSP for the elevation)
▢ 1 teaspoon fresh baking soda (halved for the elevation)
▢ ½ teaspoon fresh baking powder (halved for the elevation)
▢ 1 teaspoon sea salt
▢ 2 cups Simple Truth 72% Cacao Chocolate Chunks
I got these yesterday from Whole Paycheck Foods to celebrate. They ran out of individual cookies so I was forced to buy a package. The celebration continued today.
