True story.
Went to New Orleans to catch an evening parade, and while stopped at a stoplight, a kind reveler noticed our thirsty demeanor, and fixed us up with generous bourbon & cokes in go-cups and sent us on our merry way as the light turned green, our thirst slaked as we made our way to the parade route.
There is more that transpired that glorious evening, but I think the best stories are the ones that don’t involve ill-informed exposure, Taco Bell, or making bail.
Isn’t it like Vegas…what happens at Mardi Gras …

Nope. Nobody ever gets arrested for exposure at Mardi Gras! I call shenanigans.
@OldCatLady Quoth the cop:
“Ma’am, we’re not in New Orleans.”
@OldCatLady
Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!
@thismyusername now that goat knows how to party

Today’s attire (no, not available on mediocritee.com)
@mike808 I tots want that
Sadly NOLA is no longer on my radar for carnival…
@chienfou oh that is terrible
I did have pancakes for breakfast…
People certainly do get arrested for exposing themselves at Mardi Gras. Unless you’re on Bourbon Street, Mardi Gras is a family event down here.
Sadly Venice had to close carnival due to covid-19
@CaptAmehrican very sad. Several towns in N Italy are “closed” due to a surge in cases.
Never been but always wanted to go.
