Okay, I get that it’s a good pun and you don’t want it to go to waste… but do you want to subconsciously tell your customers to experience a painful death?
(Window washing services do this sort of thing too… “Pane in the Glass”, “Labor Panes”).
There was a small chain of barber shops in Portland, OR that I always got my hair cut. They were called Bishops Barber Shop and I miss them sooooo much. It was a very hipster/rock 'n roll themed always had killer music playing, hot twenty-somethings cutting hair and all paying customers(21 and older) got to drink as many Miller High Life 12oz. bottles as they wanted for free. They even gave great haircuts to boot. Oh how I miss Bishops…
A Wild Hair, Shear Perfection, Shear Delight, Home Styled Mobile Hair Salon (stylist comes to your home), Ladies and Gents (unisex shop), Primp and Tease, Hair Do’s, Beauty Spot, Tangles, Cuttin’ Loose.
Since the poll has dragged dog grooming salons into the mix… I take my pooches to a joint called “Bark Avenue.” That name still makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.
One time my cousin and I were going to Sonic and he saw and read aloud in disgust the name of a dog place called “Shampooch”. He was so disgusted that he drove right past Sonic (even though he’d been there several times) and had to pull a U-turn and go back.
Refrigerated Battery Hair Cuts!
(marketing may not be my thing…)
@shahnm It’s not your thing.
Not a pun, but the salon I go to (it’s great and the walls are purple) is named Cliché. Yep. They named their business cliché like it’s a good thing.

@MrMikenIkes I wonder if there’s a “Doggie Styles” anywhere.
“Shear Perfection” was my favorite place. Full of great tit… err stylists.
Sportsclips is pretty good, but I prefer Knock-outs. Ok, Knock-outs is not a pun, but have you ever been there?
@hchavers A nearby Knock-Outs got shut down for running a suburban prostitution ring out of it.
Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.
@2many2no beat me to the punch on this one…oh well, i guess great minds think alike…
@2many2no

My niece’s shop is Thairapy . I always said if I had a shop I’d call it The Mane Attraction.
@lseeber We’ve got one here called The Mane Event.
@moondrake That works too.
I’ve long referred to the generic men’s hair places (Hair Saloon, SportsClips, Knock-Outs, etc) with an equally generic nickname of “Stud Cutz”.
