Decent deal for your go-to local beer transport device. Not double walled BUT nice handle and easy to pour. Check local laws on non-branded growler fills.
Also. Check other Stanley products as it appears there is some sort of site-wide Stanley sale.
I like their stuff and have had good experiences thus far.

Thanks. That's a very good price. And I use mine to transport cold brewed coffee.
Damn you and your retail temptations! I came here because I only want ONE deal per day!
(That's why I only bought one growler.)
@tizio shhh. Meh will banish me for encroaching on their turf.
@tizio I bought 3. one for me, 2 for gifts
These are v nice.
Where does one fill a growler, and why should I prefer it over bottled beer?
@JerseyFrank Typically filled at a brewery. The benefit being a lot of places do no offer bottles of all their styles, so this allows you to take some home with you.
However if you don't plan to drink it relatively quickly, growlers are probably not the way to go.
@JerseyFrank Each state has their own rules regarding filling growlers. For example, in CA a brewery can only fill their own growlers, and if it's labeled with a specific beer it can only be filled with that beer.
Lame.
@DaveInSoCal It's a good thing they made a law for that... Sheesh, I wonder how much that cost the taxpayers to get passed.
@mehdaf I'm guessing it's a byproduct of a generic labeling law, but never looked into the reason don't know for sure.
@JerseyFrank i've seen a few grocery stores offer draft beer and a growler would be nice to have. Although a growler isn't very convenient because when you open it you have to drink the whole thing -- sometimes you just want a pint.
@DaveInSoCal this is an ever evolving law. As of late, California breweries can cover the label with a sticker of some sort and then fill in their own info. A few breweries in my area made custom stickers for this. Another option is to completely duct tape the growler then attach their own information and DBA with a tag to the growler. It used to be they could only fill their own. Before that anyone could fill anyone's. This law has been a headache for us to follow. You can always go print the law then try to educate your local breweries. Most just avoid outside growlers to play it safe. Also, it is a pain in the butt to constantly duct tape over other people's labels.
@Kevin depending on how carbonated the beer is, you can often quickly pour two pints then close it up and have two the next day. It might become slightly less effervescent but still decent.
@MrMark there old screw top grolwers only lasted maybe three days in the fridge; however, grab a swing top and they can last 5 days to a couple weeks!
@JerseyFrank beer is the most fresh at the brewery, special small batch releases, SAVINGS it is often drastically less expensive per ounce.
Nice deal. Attempting to build a use case...
This should be posted on deals.meh.com
oh wait a sec. Wrong site.
@cengland0
It should be posted on the deals.meh.com site that needs to exist asap.
Cheers!

I've recently learned that growler has a completely different meaning in the UK
@lilystang Hmm, tempted to google, but feel this may not be safe for work.
@MrMark It means "A Yorkshire artisan pork pie" in the UK which surprisingly means something completely different in Chicago.
Yes indeed! Our UK friends joined us at the brewery and had a juvenile giggle at the fact that one could order a growler!
