@kus@yakkoTDI, Burger King has burgers, so ya must also wanna grill, or fry your own burgers. Otherwise there is that drive-through, unless you’re in that Blizzard’s path!! If the latter, then my sincere condolences,… & Strap In!! 🌬❄
@awk I’m in exactly the same position. I tend to use the philips avance smokeless indoor infra-red (also from meh) for grilling more. I use the cuisinart mostly for making paninis. Do you know if the philips has a plate on the top that’s a griddle? That would be perfect for me. This does look nice if you don’t have any of that stuff though.
I have this one! Use it for kbbq at home, probably 20+ times already. It is smokeless due to the fan. My complaint is that it doesn’t get too hot…so it takes a longgg time to cook.
@sdmetzger Yeah, I was worried that might be the case. I wish there was a smaller-sized one that used the same wattage/heat output in a smaller area so you got more concentrated heat. Also smaller would make it practical to take with me in an RV. From what I’ve seen on similar units (and dimensions in this spec) these are pretty big.
I got burned (pun) by another GoWISE product. I bought the induction hot plate with skillet but the heating was so uneven I gave it to the Goodwill. Got wise in the process.
So one of the AMZ 3 star reviews, marked it down because she baked a chicken in it and it took 2 hours.
Can you actually bake a whole chicken in this?
I’m not much of a chef, but if I could put a whole chicken in this & presto 2 hours later it was done, I think I’d call that success. Is 3 Star person just impatient, or am I just really ignorant as to the process of baking a chicken?
And Meh, times are tough all around, but I do try and help where I can. We all know the blockbuster success of “Set it & Forget It”. Sadly, I simply can’t match that. But, how about “Presto! You Got Zesto!” Optional add on, “Presto! You Got Zesto! And Clean-Ups Quick & Perfecto!”
Again, as mentioned, I wish I could give you a mega slogan, but times are a Tougho ya KnowHo! That last one was just sad. I apologize. So focus on the mediocitee of the Zesto, which I give Meh & only Meh the right to use free & unconditionally as a gift from me.
And again, things will pick up at some point, and that’s when SloganTown USA will again be so hot, you’ll barely have time to count all that cash you’ll wanna stash from the Feds, cuz FICAs just a scam for those foolish FUCAs! Can ya dig it? (I understand if you can’t)
The quality will come. Just Set it &… well I guess we all know that ones already been taken. To better days!
These smokeless indoor grills always seem bad. They never get hot enough. The meat not in direct contact with the “grates” are always pale compared to a real grill where it’d still be getting blasted with infrared heat. And they’re never a close taste comparison with actual grilled food which gets it flavor from the smoke.
You can fix most those issues just by using a grill pan on an oven burner (but it won’t be “smokeless”).
Hey, how about a nice grey tough as leather flavorless Porterhouse with mush grilled taters! I think I’ll pass. I need something that’s akin to the barn catching on fire with cow protein charred to a subtle carcinogenic carbon patina. Yum!
I always enjoyed watching Rob Rainford cook in License To Grill. At the end of each episode he would share the feast that he had prepared with a group of friends/neighbors. Made me wish I was his neighbor.

OH MY GOD THEY GRILLED GLEN!!!
@shahnm <kyle>YOU BASTARDS!</kyle>
@shahnm sounds like the old “cooking a sock” joke.
Burger time!
@yakkoTDI I was thinking pancakes would be easier.
@kus Boiling water would be easier too but I want burgers!

You know, @snapster really thinks that mehrethons are the best ever. And he personally wants to give me an IRK!
That being said, in for one, these work great indoors.

@guybrush01 It worked! Your order number is: bloody-pesky-guitar

Unfortunately no longer available.
@RCFlyer Too cool.
will this burn my sims to death
@jmoor783 If you truly believe, then YES!
I’m tempted. I’ve been meaning to get some kind of indoor grill.
At least it isn’t more plastic sheets.
Hi. I would like to buy. Is it smokeless? Does it grill indoors and griddle outdoors?
I’m confused. Those mittens do exist. I bought some from you on August 1, 2020.
@variable5 I thought those were just bizarre sex toys.
@variable5 I do believe they meant mittens as in cold weather gear.
@pmarin @variable5 aren’t they what obgyn use to perform examinations?
If I didn’t already have the Cuisinart griddler (purchased from this very internet web site long ago) I’d be tempted.

A WISE decision.
You too can have half a George Foreman grill at the same price.

@tweezak Also how they put USA in the title so you can be SURE it’s made in China.
@pmarin @tweezak That’s Usa, China. Pronounced (ooh-sah) Small town (suburb) of Beijing.

@elfunkman Operaman, is that you?
Stroopwafel meh face means we’re probably getting a mehrathon tomorrow.

GoWISE USA… A new twist on the Happy Lucky Family restaurant. They must think we’re so stupid.
Oh yeah, we are.
This was just on sidedeal.com yesterday at the same price.
Isn’t that Sous Vide?
They call those “Insta-Pots”!
Not quite, but you >can< smoke ice cubes…
https://www.bonappeteach.com/smoked-ice-cubes/
I’ll stop now. ;-P
Then I’ll start:
They’ve been around forever in the theatrical biz:
Dry ice smoke machine
Yes, just stick it in a:
Propane refrigerator
Who’s up next?
lol - not one piece of the food shown was cooked on this device.

I’ve seen their “recipe” book:

Four minutes left, do I want it? No. No I do not.
