Goat Bar

So I meant to bring this up ages ago…back when I first stumbled upon it…but there was controversy…life…loss of calendars…general chaos…and I forgot…until I remembered…

I was driving either to or from Baylor…downtown Dallas…was on Gaston…(yeah…try not to sing now) when I spotted this gem…the goat bar…

I have passed it a few times now…still haven’t stopped to visit…mostly because the music starts at 10pm according to the website and I’m pro-sleep plus there’s the tot to consider…I have a plethora of excuses…

So who at meh is familiar w/ this place?..who in DFW is familiar w/ this place…I feel like there may be a thing here…or a story…anyone?

@amehzinggrace I’ve driven by it many times, but never had a chance to take a picture. In the early 2000’s it was called Lota’s Goat, but I have no clue what happened to her. I think back then it was all karaoke, which is why I was never tempted to drop in.
