A friend’s son is swimming across Lake Erie today. He is a teacher in Erie and has been a swim coach for years. Greg has a list on his page for what the money will be used to buy for the students. Greg has worked at the Gertrude Barber Center with disabled
children in the pool and is just a nice young man. I will match anyone who whispers me the amount or posts here.

As I write this he is almost done with the swim. It takes a couple years to practice, organize and get the proper clearances to officially swim across the lake.

This is nice for you to do! Good luck! But with 4 grandkids starting back to school my donations are going to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

- @therealjrn I agree, I normally donate locally. I also know that many of us here do not have the extra few bucks for this kind of thing or chose to give to particular causes.

Greg finished the swim, 14 hours 50 minutes. He is the 22nd person to do it.
