Genuine DJI 9443 9" rotors for $9.18 + free shipping
1If you've considered upgrading your stock P1 rotors to the "Vision" 9 inch rotors, this is the best price I've seen so far.
Advantages are reported to be modestly increased flight time and enhanced stability.
This Amazon seller insists these are genuine DJI and, indeed, they do appear to come in genuine DJI packaging.

That's the best price I've seen if they're real. I bought mine for $20 so this is half price. Did anyone order from this seller?
If you read some of the comments, people who have ordered these have gotten fake ones.
@garyhgaryh Therein lies a problem with the Amazon ratings system. Items from multiple vendors get grouped together and there's really no way to be sure which vendor the comments are about unless the vendor replies.
@ruouttaurmind did you order the props?
@ruouttaurmind agreed - not to mention when they even have multiple attributes combined as well that aren't really the same item.
@garyhgaryh I did actually. I was going to get around to it this weekend, but Amazon notified me the price went up (by $0.02) so I rushed in my order. LOL! Paid with my Visa reward points so it's not like it was "real" money.
@snapster That's the worst! Trying to read through 283 reviews on an item, only to realize the reviews encompass a number of product variants.
@ruouttaurmind so I paid $20 and got real ones. I did order the $10 blades after I saw your post. Lets see how it goes. If they are marked as "xoxoxo" they are fake. I heard you can get some good ones that are balanced and they work well (the fake ones)...
"Attention: The listings under $30 are most likely fake, Caution!"
...Sells them for $9...
I'm just going to drop by B&H Photo tomorrow and pick up a few sets. I can't find a far better option online.
Well, just as I suspected. I got my props today from this seller and it's not in the original DJI packaging. I'm trying to look for some kind of stamped words like "xoxoxo", but I can't find it. I will take a picture tonight of the original ones and the ones I got today.
@ruouttaurmind did you get yours yet?
@garyhgaryh Mine left the International Sort Facility San Fran on Friday so I should have them Monday I would guess. I'm wondering if Amazon will stand behind our purchase and intervene if they turn out not to be genuine.
@garyhgaryh Which seller did you buy from? Amazon is showing me different sellers when i click the link on different days, if we find a seller with authentic props we should share the name.
@djslack My seller was Starling Store. They have 4.8 star seller rating. I notice when I go to that seller's store the price is $14.17 but if I click on the product link it lists "Alice2016" as the seller for $8.39. @garyhgaryh, who was your seller?
@ruouttaurmind The $9 ones are from Starling Store. The ones that came in authentic packaging was from Random's store and looks real.
@garyhgaryh How do the products compare? Size, appearance, weight?
@ruouttaurmind I looked closely and the ones I got are indeed marked "xoxoxo". FAKE! They appear to be decent quality. Will put up a pic in a few minutes.
@ruouttaurmind
@ruouttaurmind The product looks and feels the same. I looked at it closely earlier sun. If you didn't know what to look for you wouldn't know you have non-DJI props. The shape is exactly the same.
@garyhgaryh If it looks to be of decent quality, I guess it was worth $9, so that's cool. I should have mine today so I'll be able to test them this evening.
@ruouttaurmind @garyhgaryh well, at least they are sending their hugs and kisses? LOL I'm tempted to pick up these knockoffs http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Pairs-9-9443-Self-Tightening-Propeller-Prop-For-DJI-Phantom-2-Vision-Plus-/321708076780
@ruouttaurmind def worth $9 (over 50% off genuine). One guy rated the xoxoxo brand highly if you get a balanced set so I might buy a balancer to verify they are balanced.
@sportykev Wow, that's a great price! $5/set. Hmm.. I'm so tempted to get it, but if they're junk I'll have two sets of junk blades.. lol...
@garyhgaryh just bought it. Will report back in about a month when it finally arrives by boat LOL
@sportykev damn I'm tempted to buy that set... that's a great deal....
@garyhgaryh My Amazon rotors left SF sort facility in the wee morning hours of the 14th, but still didn't make it to my mailbox today. Maybe tomorrow.
@ruouttaurmind @garyhgaryh well they finally came in, and same as @DJMajickMan they had xoxoxo printed on them. Now, I don't have any experience with genuine 9443, but these guys are LOUD compared to the ones that come with the p111. Is that normal? angle of attack? At one point I lost all lift hovering 6ft from the ground. Thing just dropped to the ground. Not sure on increased run-time though, I'll have to check the video.
now down to $8.28
@DJMajickMan I noticed that. Price has been fluxuating almost hourly since the seller opened his store.
Still no update on my rotors. Left SF sort facility at 12:02am on the 14th. I would have expected them to be delivered by now. Maybe all these packages I've been getting from China has raised suspicion from DHS and they're inspecting the package.
@ruouttaurmind I bet you'll get 'em wed-thu.
Mine came in... and they were fake...on top of that they only sent me one pair (2 props). I emailed them a stern message and told them they need to send me real dji props as advertised. ..my replacements came in yesterday.....also FAKE, i flew them today and they suck not enough lift to stop the quad from falling. I think its because they're so thin.
I have another set coming for $20 that are also supposed to be real too, we'll see.
@nltownsend843 Who did you buy from? My genuine ones came from Random's store. Props from Starling is fake, but they look like good quality ones. I bet yours just need to be balanced.
@garyhgaryh the shitty ones were from " T-Trees" for $9.xx
@garyhgaryh the ones that will be here tomorrow are from "WindSpeed"
@nltownsend843 Make sure you check the balance. My carbon fiber ones even though visibly scratched to make them ballance had 1 in 6 that was not actually balanced.
@DJMajickMan
While a good balance is always a great thing, i dont think that was the issue with these, it flew stable it just didnt have the lifting power of the stock props. I think theyre just so paper thin they were deflecting too much.
@nltownsend843 can you post a picture of yours? Mine looks similar to the oem ones, even in thickness. Maybe I need to look closely.
My 9443's left San Fran over a week ago and haven't been heard from since. Mail time from SF to me is usually two to three days. I'll give it another couple days then make a claim with the seller.
Yeah that sounds like my Gimbal. Was processed at the Chicago Il. USPS sorting facility three days ago. Still haven't gotten it. So it won't go on until I'm back in town :(.
@DJMajickMan
My other set came in today also fake......aand get this, different sellers, different prices......came from the same place.

@DJMajickMan
Sorry to keep quoting you, but its easier than scrolling to the top of the page lol
@nltownsend843 Interesting. Wonder if they (the shipper) are drop-shipping for Amazon sellers, or if they're intentionally trying to cloud the sales.
@ruouttaurmind
I dont know, but im sick of this Chinese shit being passed off as real or from America.
Rotors arrived. XOXOXO fakes. Unlike @garyhgaryh, mine are very poor quality. Very thin, especially at the tips. Three of the eight tips are twisted and misshapen so the trailing edge is actually above the leading edge. This would create a situation where the tip of the rotor was trying to push down, but the base of the rotor would be trying to create lift.
I've contacted the seller to see what the response will be.
@ruouttaurmind Sorry to hear bud.. Hope they refund you and you don't have to ship back. Does yours look anything like the picture I posted above (xoxoxo set on the right).
@garyhgaryh The profile looks the same as yours, but the blades are very thin. Especially at the tips. The last 1.5" or so are very thin and extremely flexible. No worries! If the seller doesn't want to make it right, Amazon or AMEX will. :-)
Told ya they sucked.
I just emaild both sellers i bought from demanding what i bought as advertised or i was going to file a claim. Im sure ill get another broken English response that resolves nothing.
@nltownsend843 My seller contacted me back already and offered a full refund.
Lol, what'd i say about a broken English reply. ..
.
"We are very sorry to received your return request .About this propeller ,we have sell more order ,and more client feedback that is good for them AirPlane , if you mind our package , would you like us give you a half refund , and the package no need return back? we want to you have a pleasure shopping experience.
we are looking forward to your early reply .
Thanks and best regards
Nemo"
@nltownsend843 they offered me the same thing a few days ago and I took it. Mine look like a nice set so for less than $5, I'm gonna try it out.
LOL! Obviously they're not reading what they're posting. Updated data on this product:
@DJMajickMan I'm not sure how this works, but I think a vendor writes up a listing and other vendors can join in IF they are offering the same product. We get the counterfeit sellers who add themselves to the listing.
@garyhgaryh Oh yeah and it's yet another new seller. Fly by night company
Well t-trees (the $9 props) gave me a full refund last night.
Windspeed (the $16 props) the ones that have sent me a replacement set that were also fake replied with this.
"Dear friend ,
You can rest assured that we have got the authorization from the manufacture.DJI is our supplyer."
I just told them they're full of it.
Is anybody using the 9450 prop? Dji's website says its an upgrade for the p1......but all i see online is people using the 9443.
@nltownsend843 I ordered 9450's from Banggood two days ago. Along with these http://www.banggood.com/DJI-Phantom-2-Vision-9443-Carbon-Fiber-Self-locking-Propeller-3-Blade-p-943086.html, and these http://www.banggood.com/Self-locking-9450-3-Leaf-Propeller-2CW2CCW-For-DJI-Phantom-1-2-Vision-p-976124.html
@DJMajickMan
Son of a bitch! I just typed out a long reply and accedentaly touched ooutside the box and its gone.
@nltownsend843
Give us some feedback on those tri-blades, i dont see too many people running them. Im tempted to order some 9450's but i have some 9443's coming from a trusted seller, and being ive never tried real ones the 9443 might be fine.
my flight times aren't too bad now, stock p1 props, stock battery, bigger gopro2, walkera plastic gimbal, iosd mini, and immersion 600mw tx all running off the main battery and i still get 8.5 minutes
@nltownsend843 happened to me a few times... :(
@DJMajickMan Have you seen reviews of those props on youtube? Everyone has hated them! Let me know what you think when you try it out.
Well i ordered a set of 9450's for $30 to try lol.
Now i have to stop! The last two days ive bought; 9450's=$30, 9443's=$30, another dji charger=$20, a screw set=$8, a black pearl monitor/rx=$230, and a main board for a cheap quad i have im going to put fpv on for my goggles=$17
Here's a video for how to fix some of the issues we may see with these cheap props.
My oem 9443's came in yesterday.....its night and day how much nicer they are.
I wish new replies in these threads went to the bottom. ....it shows a new reply but its lost in the middle somewhere.
@nltownsend843 if you reply to someone's comment, it goes below the comment you are replying to. If you add a comment to the main thread it goes to the bottom.
@nltownsend843 are they louder than stock?
@Ignorant
Yea thats fine for "my" comments because i know what i posted, its other people's replies i cant find.
......even better yet make the forum put new comments at the top so we dont have to scroll
@nltownsend843 if you click where it say last comment 5 minutes ago (or whatever) it'll take you directly to the last comment. Then if you scroll up/down and see anything with a line to the right it's an unread comment.
@Ignorant
I dont think i have any of those options. Maybe using my phone is most of the problem
@nltownsend843 I only use my phone.

@Ignorant ok thanks, ill give it a try.
@sportykev the 9443's are pretty loud, my 9450's are very quiet.
@Ignorant THanks, I learned something from someone named @Ignorant! lol.
I just got back from testing the counterfeit 9443's. First problem I had was threading the rotors with the silver hubs onto the motor shafts. The threading inside the hub was horrible on both silver. The black ones threaded right on without a problem.
I was impressed with the difference in sound, but that's the only thing that impressed me about these. Flight was bouncy and unstable. They required about 15-20% more throttle to maintain hover. I didn't bother doing a flight time test because, frankly, I just didn't trust them.
If anybody wants them, send me a SASE. Otherwise, I'm chucking them in the bin. They're worthless.
@ruouttaurmind Thanks for the info!
I found my xoxoxo 9443 to also have threading problems but on the black ones, silver props spin on very nicely like OEM
I saw a video where a guy drilled out the first lip of the oxox props with a 5/16 bit to fix that issue.
I ended up with one set of oxox's that the seller didnt want back......i "might" try to put some work into them and see if they'll fly ok, the first time i flew them i wasnt impressed. But then again I've got about a $1,000 flying around, its just not worth the risk for a savings of $20 with some shitty props.
@nltownsend843 I thought about punching through the tops of the hubs on the drill press, then running a tap through them to see if I can clean up the threads. But the seller refunded my money, so I doubt I'll bother. I just need to suck it up and get some genuine DJI props from an authorized dealer.
@ruouttaurmind the ones i saw it wasnt the threads it was the first lip rubbing the lower part of the motor shaft.
I just did a flight time test on my o-xoxo props, granted im sure they need balanced but they wouldn't hover good at all, they drifted 8 feet in all directions including up and down.
@nltownsend843 Mine were stiff and grainy when trying to thread onto the motor shaft. So it sounds like they've got all kinds of quality control issues in whatever factory makes those things. I did like the lower pitch rotor noise though. Less like a swarm of angry bees and more like a lawnmower. :-)
Hey guys, I just put my xoxoxo props on and the silver ones do not thread on properly. I know that @sportykev has issues with the black ones, but my issues are with the silver ones on both props. If I look closely, I can't even get the silver props screwed all the way down. Theysit about 1/8 higher than the black ones. I will try a drill it out a bit to see if that helps, but so far these seem to be junk!
@garyhgaryh So i drilled them both of them out but only fixed one. Initiallly I said they sit 1/8 in higher. I should say about 1/4in higher. Now only one sits higher about 1/8-1/16th in. These knockoff sound better than the stock 8" props. I'll have some stats later.
Got my two sets in. Of the eight props 4 need to be re-drilled to fit correctly. Also notice another issue with the props a few of them are flat on one end meaning they're not going to fly right until I can heat and bend them to where they should have been.
@DJMajickMan Mine were the same way. I dipped half the rotor in boiling water, pushed it back into shape, then quenched it in ice water. Repeated for the other side.. Seemed to do the trick.
@DJMajickMan was 4 of the same color?
@DJMajickMan once u guys fix the props they work almost as good as stock 9" props.
@ruouttaurmind good idea. I hit a tree branch with a prop and its bent upwards.
@garyhgaryh no the four that need to be drilled out are a perfect set. So I have one fully working set and one set that needs to be drilled. However, there are probably 6-7 of the 8 that need to be heated, reshaped, and cooled. Might go with @ruouttaurmind's suggestion of hot water/ice bath.
@DJMajickMan the ones I had to drill out was the silver tipped props. They did not screw into the motor without some major force. I think I took out too much aluminum. I should weigh them to see. Do you remember the colors of the prop tip you drilled out?
@garyhgaryh for me I bought four sets of two of those 2 silver and 2 black are going to have to be drilled. The other 2 silver and 2 black fit perfect.
@DJMajickMan Ok, I get what you're saying earlier. Thanks!
So my set from banggood came in today. Much nicer much cheaper at 5.55. I've decided I'm not even going to waste my time trying to fly on the 8.28 POS's they're weak at the end and still don't look right after heating and reshaping. Also they're 9450's
@DJMajickMan Thanks for the link. Are they knockoffs? Have you tried it yet?
@garyhgaryh I'd guess knockoffs at that price. Haven't had a chance to fly. might have some clearing in the weather tomorrow.
@garyhgaryh Flight didn't last long with the batteries I used but I'm not sure that didn't have something to do with the problems I was having with the Gimbal that day as well as they weren't freshly charged. Camera kept sliding on the gimbal causing it to use the motors to try and reset back to level which I think may have burned through the battery a bit. I've added some rubber bumpers to the gimbal to see if that will hold the camera better next time. However the flight after that with the stock props was flat out bad :( would not stay stable any flight adjustments were exaggerated and it flipped on a number of occassions causing the props to continue spinning with the quad on it's head. Didn't help I was on concrete at the time so the props could easily spin.
@DJMajickMan I have the same problem with my banggood gimbal. GoPro slides around even though the velcro is strapped as tight as it can go, but the gimbal is constantly adjusting for the slight camera shifting.
@sportykev Does GoPro have a tripod mounting socket in the bottom of the camera? I use a 1/4-20 nylon screw and 1/4*1" nylon fender washer (screwed through the gimbal bracket into the tripod socket) to firmly hold my cameras to the Chinese gimbal, then add the velcro strap as a safety measure.
@ruouttaurmind it doesn't unfortunately. that would have really helped...!
