Wow, how much is that? or is it one of these build it yourself products?
@garyhgaryh Well it wouldn't be your project without some building necessary! The frame is 2785 Chinese Yuan (about $450) directly from Tarot. I'm sure the ones in the pics are >$1K builds.
@garyhgaryh I was just poking around on the Chinese vendors websites. Just for fun I tossed into my shopping cart all the bits necessary to build one of those clone F550 hexacopters. Using all the cheapest parts it came to $180 plus radio and battery. That included APM compatable FC, GPS, Compass. Using better quality components (SimonK ESC's, Arducopter FC, Sunnysky Motors, etc) came to $215 plus radio and battery. Using all top shelf stuff it was hovering around $300 plus radio and battery. Though it's another $100 to upgrade to a 32bit Pixhawk FC or NAZA-M v2.
@ruouttaurmind Wow, that is not bad at all!!
@ruouttaurmind Hmm... I happen to be looking for a new quad. That thing looks pretty sweet! edit: I guess I mean doublequad
