While true, it is also the day Jon is least likely to make lasagna from my experience. I guess maybe the sleep makes up for it, but is it really sleep with a dog in the house? I don’t know, but either way I’m still confident after the numerous times this video has been posted that it probably bothers irk more than it should.
I have always wondered why Garfield hates Mondays when every day is pretty much the same for him, but Davis had the answer. “Garfield does not have a job, Garfield does not go to school and every day is the same. Nevertheless every Monday is just a reminder that his life is the same old, same old cycling again and for some reason even though his life is pretty much the same every day on Mondays specifically, awful things tend to happen to him physically.”
As I recall fronrading Garfield as a kid Garfield was frequently injured on Mondays. Often a pie to the face. Or he would be flattened by something unexpectedly falling on him
Garfield is not even a cat. At least not in any sense that I’ve ever determined, having shared my home with cats all my life. Your best bet is to totally ignore Garfield, and anything that Jim Davis has created. He’s a hack.
Garfield should embrace Mondays, as his owner should be at work, and therefore he can sleep more…

@jro2020 Don’t fronrad your cat. It’s not OK.
Garfield is not even a cat. At least not in any sense that I’ve ever determined, having shared my home with cats all my life. Your best bet is to totally ignore Garfield, and anything that Jim Davis has created. He’s a hack.
My favorite quote regarding Jim Davis and Garfield comes from Bill Watterson:
