Galactic Goat checkin - April 25th "The Long Road Home"
8It’s been a challenging week. Many details needed to address, many changes to prepare Mom for. I’m confident Mom is going to be ok. Sure, there’s going to be a big adjustment, but she’s handling everything very, very well. I’m proud of her.
It seems I’ve done all I can for the urgent stuff, so I’m headed home. Hopefully I’m going to make a 6:30 standby, short layover in LAS, then landing in my home city by midnight. Somehow I’ve managed to find a pretty annoying head cold during my trip, so with luck I’ll be back in my own bed before 1am. So looking forward to that! Quick visit with my dogs, then beddy-bye for this old goat.
Before I started packing this morning I took ol’ Gyps for another ride. She’s such a sweetheart.
For better or worse, your April Goat will be back online tomorrow, April 26th, and prepared to finish out the month with (hopefully) no more interruptions.

What’s gonna happen with Gyps?
@PlacidPenguin Mom is eventually going to move to be closer to me, but that’s going to take some planning to get done. 179 acre farm is gonna take some prep to be ready to sell.
So Gypsy Rose will remain a farm pup for the time being, and Mom is keeping 'ol Red (the pickup) until she moves so she can ride Gyps every afternoon.
