Fuku Alien Queen Wristwatch is Seriously Vintage

Did anyone else notice the manufacture date on that Alien Queen Wristwatch some of us got in the Fukubukuro?

The battery may be dead, but hey at least the Alien Queen is old enough to drink now!

Apparently they were created as a tie-in to a Saturday morning cartoon show that never actually aired: "Operation: Aliens"

Because a series of R-rated movies is obviously an awesome thing to base a kid's cartoon show and toy line on.

Looks like it's worth about twice what we paid for the entire Fukubukuro. Here's one that sold for $12 on eBay. Nice.
