@AttyVette Ah. Yes, I keep forgetting that there are parts of the country that use other time zones.

Though I’d say your post is still incorrect, since you stated “8:00 AM” and not “7:00 AM” (in one case you use CDT and another you use EDT). However, perhaps you are using “8:00 AM” not as a time, but rather as a name for the 8:00 AM EDT release of product.

Time zones can cause all sorts of crazy things, though this blog post is one of the crazier ones of which I’ve read.

@baqui63 yes sir 8 am was for the listed EST zone that meh used for the product re-release ( aka un-paused sale) the next morning…but for me, of course, it was 7 am CST – btw thanks for the interesting link about time zones…that was crazy

Well … To each his/her own preference.

In my life friends (even those I speak with less than once a year at times) provide various highly significant bennies that I would not know how to get elsewhere, an I’m reasonably resourceful.

The biggest obvious bennies are long term being interested and connected, having gotten way way past worrying about weirdness, and from those two plus time, having deep and profound acceptance, affection, generosity, and perspective. And no one who didn’t pass beyond co-worker or acquaintance or sometime companion or person w interests in common into true friend territory can offer anything even in the same universe of depth and quality.

And there are profound bennies hard to put into words.

But my world is my world. Don’t intend unwarranted generalization. Pls forgive if I seemed to imply that my experiences might apply to yours.

@jimpper and when your payment bounces what should they do for the guy who didn’t get one because they denied him? Reserving stock prior to transaction completion is always a mess, the current system works, first mouse to the cheese gets to feast.

@jimpper Eh, thats the second time I’ve had a checkout page for this fuko but couldnt go through. Bigger problem for me was performance, the page loaded but some scripts obviously didnt, couldnt get checkout for a while
