- @sohmageek oh so sorry to read this post about your mother. I lost mine in February last year and it stinks. Don’t be surprised when the “firsts” pop up - namely, first birthday she is gone ( both hers and yours), first Christmas, first Thanksgiving, first Mother’s day etc without her. All those days will be rough. Praying for you

So sorry take care of yourself and know there is no timeline or expectation of how you should grieve…if anyone says otherwise walk away, or punch them, or use choice words. My mom has been gone 10 years and I still grieve. The pain just shows how much love was present and that is a wonderful testament to you, her and the lives you live(d).

If you need anything holler. The Meh community is pretty awesome, we got ya here and will lift you up no matter how many times you may fall.
