I really wanted one for a knot I seem to perpetually have in my shoulder, but I couldn’t bring myself to buy one of the $300+ brand-name ones, and I haven’t heard good things about the off-brands (they’re too weak, break quickly, or both). Rummaging through Amazon one day though, I came across $20 jigsaw massage attachments! Score! Obviously a bit louder then a Theragun or similar and not nearly as pretty, but sure as hell has the power!

One tall, slim, blue-eyed, straight hair, reserved, mathematical. The other short, muscular, brown-eyed, wavy hair, Alpha, athletic. The resemblance I see is an identical profile. Our IRKs are more similar!

My most recent one had a Cuisinart hot air popcorn popper. List ~$40, and on good sales down to $20. I’ve a large closet in which I keep things for when grandkids eventually move out to their own places. It went in there, as have prior “scores”.

@lerid The thrift stores around here sell all kinds of stuff and people snap it up as cheap impulse buys and the money then goes to the charities. So it’s not the less fortunate necessarily buying it; often it’s just people looking for stocking stuffers or something they just might want for cheap but not full price, like bunny cookie cutters. But yeah, if your standards are that high, you probably should opt out of trying to get the Irks.

@blaineg So your advice was good - tested and dead, and did not accept a charge. I even took it apart and traced the circuitry and it is getting power from the charging cable and that is making it all the way to the battery, but the battery has zero charge, so I’m assuming it is either a bad battery or there is a break somewhere under the “wrapping”. Not sure how much effort it is worth, but you know, I’ll probably keep poking at it - just because.
My first ever IRK. The regret is real. An ugly tan irk bag, A rechargeable hand held essential oils diffuser, 3 grey trackrs (no extra batteries), and 7 (that’s SEVEN!) pink selfie sticks. Sorry can’t figure out how to post a pic.
I forgot to shout out to the absolute savage that packed this. The trackrs, the irk bag, the diffuser and one of the selfie sticks were packed loose, then there was a plain brown box. So I looked through and said “meh. Useless. But maybe there’s something good in this box…” then, upon opening it, I was met with six more selfie sticks. It was heartbreak and uncontrollable laughter at the same time. I wish I had been doing an unboxing video. It woulda been hilarious. So probably the best part of this one was a good laugh.
I got a queen sheet set that I’ll be using tonight, a pair of shoes that are perfect for my mother, a useless iphone battery thing, some useless make-up things…

@Kyeh There is no doubt that I have gotten my share of customized IRKs, but my comments have drawn the attention of the powers that be re bubble wrap, balls and dead horses so there was a reason for that customization. Assuming they just stuck labels on already packaged IRKs, this would have been a POS IRK by anyone’s standards.

The contents: charcoal teeth whitening powder (appears shrink-wrapped and new), tzumi car charger cord and lighter plug adapter thingy (1 amp, micro usb, and appears new), kinetic stackable storage organizer bin for the fridge (14.5x10.25x4, also looks new), 12 of those princess gift bags, and the blue irk bag. Not bad of an irk pull! Makes me almost wish I had bought a fridge bin or two of my own. ALMOST. Happy weekend everyone! P.s. also no idea how to post a photo. Lol
@talv0002 That 6x4x1 seems to be a default filler size that everybody gets. Unfortunately, not a clue. Although even if it were a real box size it rarely would be providing much info.

@pepper114 You could have just googled what a fiber mascara does but if you don’t use much makeup it’s a thing they’ve been doing the last 8 years or so where you put that gunk on first and then add black mascara to look like you have full lashes. The no date code or expiration is an issue across the entire makeup/skincare industry. But yea not your thing but also not asbestos most likely or trash.

I should sleep through the next mehrathon but the king size beige (matches the irk bag but the new blue bag would’ve been nice to have) coverlet set is too big to help me with that. Perhaps if I could use the blue blockers I would fall asleep sooner.

I’m finally taking some pto (I’ve lost too many days already thanks to an accrual cap) so I can make a donation run.

I got a box that fits my cat Bodhi perfectly. A red bag that will probably fit Cassiopeia perfectly, once she finishes her nap with the succulents.
Two pairs of Minx socks with non-skid heels. It says “Ladies, one size fits most”, but are stretchy enough to fit my men’s size 10 feet. I tested them on the slippery hardwood floor, they actually improve traction!
A boring knit hat. I am married to a knitter, so I will never use this one.

A black extra small turtle neck with a “cleverly integrated face covering”. It is a turtleneck with ear holes!! It needs eye holes, too. When I move, it creeps up over my eyes. At 215 pounds, no one has accused me of being extra small.

@eggsterminate man… similar situation. I’m in Raleigh and the IRK was in neighboring Durham last Thursday, then Fedex decided to take it 3 hours away to Charlotte for some reason where it hung out till coming back to Durham again today. Finally “on vehicle for delivery”… 5 days later.
Some unique items I haven’t seen before, but none of them too useful for me. Maybe the plastic container will help with organizing my refrigerator…

I’ve fraternal twin grandsons. One tall, slim, blue-eyed, straight hair, reserved, mathematical. The other short, muscular, brown-eyed, wavy hair, Alpha, athletic. The resemblance I see is an identical profile. Our IRKs are more similar!

@lerid The thrift stores around here sell all kinds of stuff and people snap it up as cheap impulse buys and the money then goes to the charities. So it’s not the less fortunate necessarily buying it; often it’s just people looking for stocking stuffers or something they just might want for cheap but not full price, like bunny cookie cutters. But yeah, if your standards are that high, you probably should opt out of trying to get the Irks.

@blaineg So your advice was good - tested and dead, and did not accept a charge. I even took it apart and traced the circuitry and it is getting power from the charging cable and that is making it all the way to the battery, but the battery has zero charge, so I’m assuming it is either a bad battery or there is a break somewhere under the “wrapping”. Not sure how much effort it is worth, but you know, I’ll probably keep poking at it - just because.
My first ever IRK. The regret is real. An ugly tan irk bag, A rechargeable hand held essential oils diffuser, 3 grey trackrs (no extra batteries), and 7 (that’s SEVEN!) pink selfie sticks. Sorry can’t figure out how to post a pic.

I forgot to shout out to the absolute savage that packed this. The trackrs, the irk bag, the diffuser and one of the selfie sticks were packed loose, then there was a plain brown box. So I looked through and said “meh. Useless. But maybe there’s something good in this box…” then, upon opening it, I was met with six more selfie sticks. It was heartbreak and uncontrollable laughter at the same time. I wish I had been doing an unboxing video. It woulda been hilarious. So probably the best part of this one was a good laugh.
I got a queen sheet set that I’ll be using tonight, a pair of shoes that are perfect for my mother, a useless iphone battery thing, some useless make-up things…
But all in all, I’m happy.

Mine arrived today. The posted dimensions of package were “6x4x1” so I was expecting, I don’t know, the set of two decks of cards? What arrived was “16x12x10”. The contents: charcoal teeth whitening powder (appears shrink-wrapped and new), tzumi car charger cord and lighter plug adapter thingy (1 amp, micro usb, and appears new), kinetic stackable storage organizer bin for the fridge (14.5x10.25x4, also looks new), 12 of those princess gift bags, and the blue irk bag. Not bad of an irk pull! Makes me almost wish I had bought a fridge bin or two of my own. ALMOST. Happy weekend everyone! P.s. also no idea how to post a photo. Lol

@pepper114 You could have just googled what a fiber mascara does but if you don’t use much makeup it’s a thing they’ve been doing the last 8 years or so where you put that gunk on first and then add black mascara to look like you have full lashes. The no date code or expiration is an issue across the entire makeup/skincare industry. But yea not your thing but also not asbestos most likely or trash.

Two pairs of Minx socks with non-skid heels. It says “Ladies, one size fits most”, but are stretchy enough to fit my men’s size 10 feet. I tested them on the slippery hardwood floor, they actually improve traction!

Mine hasn’t shipped yet but I’m really crossing my fingers for the actual Friday the 13th stuff that was hinted at in the thon. I should know better but a girl can always dream about the things nightmares are made of.

Will have to wait for a week or so. I have a large wedding commission I’m working on and need to get that buttoned up before I start Jezzy working on the side projects. I still have stuff to make for Lynn. 
Thankfully the kids are now in school so there’s WAY more time and energy to focus on my end.
