@jouest WHERE DID THEY GET IT?! Years ago I was OBSESSED with a vegan corn gummi from China and I NEVER GOT OVER IT when they stopped making and/or importing it.
@jouest@pakopako NO. It was agar-based and shaped like baby corn. It was amazing. Its mascot was an ear of corn wearing glasses and maybe a mortarboard hat?
@jouest@pakopako Holy crap, they’re all over Amazon, I should check all the local Asian grocery stores again.

BUT I STILL WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THESE HARD CANDIES, THANK YOU.
@jouest@pakopako@mossygreen Hah - you sent me on a long trip down that same rabbit hole searching for these just out of curiosity.
I once had a sweet corn ice cream sundae in Thailand, and they poured canned creamed corn on top. So I guess in Asia corn is regarded as a kind of fruit!
What do you have against candy corn that has been bricked by careless transport in an unrefrigerated truck? I mean, aside from the necessity for a hammer and chisel to break a piece loose before you can eat any. And the ingredients list. And the multiple kinds of sugar. And the artificial coloring. And the wax coating. On second thought, never mind.
At the office somebody brought corn candy. It’s not the same as candy corn. It’s like a corn-flavored jolly rancher.
I don’t hate it.
@jouest if they sell it I’m not buying it
@jouest Have you ever had Kit-Kat in corn flavour?

It’s a vegan gummy candy brand that uses corn cob as their central ingredient (to form the “gummy” portion)
