Forum notification spam.
1Hi. The other day I went into my account settings and deselected the option to have the system email me when my name is @ mentioned in the forums, but I still receive these emails from the system. This morning I also removed my Amazon account in case there was something there related, but the notifications continue. I would rather not give the system a phony address as I still have a few orders outstanding, but hopefully someone over there can take a look at this when the have a chance.
As for the rest of you folks, if you could stop tagging me in your replies for the next few days, that would be great.

Depending your email provider you can filter those emails to a separate folder and delete all at once.
@Foxborn Yeah, but then that's a failure of the system. When unsubscribed, one shouldn't receive any in the first place.
true I was just offering alternative. How long ago did you change the settings if it was just today maybe it processes overnight, or the one you've revived since were already in nether regions of the interwebs

@neuromancer if you have your mention notification setting turned off you're not going to get this email, but it appears the bug has been fixed now.
