It's funny when it takes you a week to break this sort of news to your internet forum community buddies.

RIP Lucy, aka The Dog Who Was Fingered.

She choked on an damned dog treat while we were on vacation last week.

Personally, I think she somehow figured out her celebrity and chose martyrdom.

At any rate, a new dog is on the horizon. Don't worry, I've learned my lesson.

(inb4 "curse @marklog for bumming out the forum")

I'm so, so sorry. Loss of a pet is devastating. Especially when you're so close to them. Would you like us to hurl photos of our pets looking sad at you as consolation?

- @harrison Thanks. I really debated posting. I'm not looking for sympathy (but appreciate it), and I demand that this thread does not change any sick or perverse reference going forward. Any alteration of said behavior would sully her memory.
