@shahnm Trivia: In the book, it was M&Ms, but Mars wouldn’t let Spielberg use them. Hershey, OTOH, was happy to supply Reese’s Pieces by the bucket to get free publicity for a new product. One of the more boneheaded decisions by Mars Corp.
@kjady I’ve noticed that the football Reese’s and the easter Reese’s seem to be made from the same mold. So if you like that shape, many of the stores have the football ones marked down for the season.
@PooltoyWolf I find that the assumption that everybody must love Reese’s is something that requires a response. Had the poll included a selection for “I do not have one”, I’d have ticked that box and moved on.
@PooltoyWolf@yakkoTDI Then they assumed that no one who dislikes the product merited acknowledgement, which is a poor choice. Polls rhat fail to self-select their audience need to include explicit exits for those whose opinions fall outside the measured range.
@PooltoyWolf@werehatrack@yakkoTDI or because they made the poll about a product similar to what is for sale, their concern was their target market. Folks who dont like them are not part of that population, soooooooo
@sicc574@stolicat@werehatrack I kind of can’t believe I’m having to reply again in the same thread to the same person to ask why the outsized negativity is needed here. “Hershey’s is gross” is an obtuse opinion that really should not be aired in a thread asking people what their favorite variety of a Hershey’s product is.
I dunno man. I was raised to spread positivity and politeness. Maybe that’s why I get annoyed when I see someone spending the bulk of their time speaking negatively. Just my observation, nothing more.
