Very nice. I’ve never been in a saltwater pool so I don’t get it. What’s so great about it? My sister lives with her boyfriend (in the parents guest house) and they have a salt water pool and she acts like it’s heaven on earth. I’m going there today I guess I’ll have to bring my bathing suit.

Saltwater pools use the salt in the water (which is less salty than sea water) to make chlorine to keep the pool water healthy. As the water passes thru a chlorine generator, the NaCl is ionized to make chlorine. The result is there is much less messing around with adding chemicals etc. than in a typical pool. Salt stays in the pool unless it gets splashed out, as it doesn’t evaporate with the water. The water ‘feels’ better on your skin as well.
Having grown up on a lake I really enjoy swimming in them. Some of them are surprisingly clean. I don’t mind swinging in a pool but I always feel confined and the chlorine kills my eyes and hair. I also enjoy the ocean anytime I visit.
Pool full of gold coins.
@awk You may wanna rethink that.
Wherever Fenris swims with me!
I answered pool, and them remembered they have pee too.

@hchavers Oceans, rivers & lakes don’t?
They probably all have dead bodies in them too.
What’s your acceptable ratio?

@blaineg @hchavers @werehatrack There’s also LOADS of semen.
@blaineg @hchavers @SEGAStaRBiTS64 @werehatrack And sometimes sea men.
@blaineg @hchavers @Kyeh @SEGAStaRBiTS64 @werehatrack But very few seam men.
@blaineg @hchavers @Kyeh @macromeh @werehatrack Hehehe.
Somewhere you don’t have to walk through sand on the way out.
Private pool, but only in my fantasies, because I don’t have one and am not likely to ever get one.
@Kyeh Trust me, you’re much better off not having one. Pools are like boats; they are holes into which one pours money endlessly.
@Kyeh @werehatrack
gotta spend it somewhere… I love my pool.
In someone else’s pool…
In water
Great Lakes: Always fresh, sometimes frozen.
@davedirkse
Just about any lake in Michigan will do for me. I love summer time here.
While I love the beach, snorkeling, diving, body surfing kayaking, SUP, etc my backyard saltwater pool is the next best thing.
