@show_the_maw a woman I used to work with gets an elk ever year to fill the freezer. I’m a little jealous. But she’s up on the woods in Oregon. Have to take a trip plus win a hunting lottery to get one for most of us. I don’t have the time or the money
@hchavers@ThunderChicken
Front lawns in some parts of CO are now forbidden in new developments, due to the increasing water shortage. So yeah, they ARE so last year!
Harvesting carambola and getting cold season fruits and veggies in the ground (watermelon, cucumber, pepper, tomatoes et al. What people in the Great White North plant in the spring for a fall harvest, we plant in “fall” for a “winter” and “spring” harvest).
@ircon96@macromeh that is awesome. I just shared this with a friend whose Community does an annual hay bale competition. I’m challenging him to use it for next year
Deer hunting, but one day I would love to go on an elk hunt.

Getting back up again.
@phendrick So, you’re NOT a Weeble?? My world view has been shattered.
@ircon96 No, I’m a Wobble, not a Weeble.
@ircon96 @phendrick And you speak Woopsle?
@Kidsandliz @phendrick I hear ya. The wobble i have down pat, i could use a little more Weeble… not to worry about falling would be great!
Outside? Are you kidding? There are people out there!
@hchavers I’m what you would call IN-doorsy…
Sweating a tiny bit less when I go riding my bicycle.
Daytime walks when work allows. Fall is the best walking season.
Agricultural fairs (especially the Deerfield Fair)
Wine by the patio fireplace
Mushroom hunting
Less heat
@sicc574 yet more moist
@hchavers Are we still talking about seasons here?
Making out on the high school lawn. Oh wait, that was 50 years ago.
@ThunderChicken you could graduate to your own lawn.
@hchavers @ThunderChicken
Cruise ships don’t have lawns.
@hchavers @Kyeh @ThunderChicken If you have a balcony off your state room, you could bring a little patch of astroturf, maybe?
@hchavers Get off my lawn.
@hchavers @Kyeh Some have gardens. Most have miniature golf greens.
@hchavers Lawns are so… last year.
@hchavers @ircon96 @Kyeh I carry a framed painting by Michael Cheval and you want me to put MORE into my luggage?
@hchavers @ThunderChicken
