I walk about an hour and a half during a full day’s commute, and I probably like walking more but I picked train. I spend closer to three hours on a train every day, and something about the train is really great. I see the same people every day, we drink together, share our work woes… It’s a good part of the day.
Planes don’t work too well for a trip to the grocery store. Bicycles take too long for going cross-country, though they are usually easy to find parking for.
Car = freedom. Go where you want, and with caveats about traffic, when you want. Not tied to rails, or mass transit schedules and locations, or dealing with TSA security kabuki and cattle-car seating. Make it a 4x4 and extend your reach to many off the road locations.
tried taking my Mediocre Labs libido to QVC last night for an interview, but their security guards put me in jail and wouldn’t let me drive home until my dad came to pick me up
How come the picture shows a boat, but a boat isn’t one of the choices.
@rtjhnstn boats are the best

Sometimes I run…
But usually, I waddle…
I personally have never flown, but both of these methods seem ok.

Cruise Ship.
Trains, NOT SUBWAYS, are a pleasant and relaxing way to travel.
The second best is my expert driving, of course.
@hchavers you drive even better from the back seat, I hear.

Anything I can sleep comfortably in while someone else deals with the Point-A-to-Point-B stuff.
But staying home does it for me too.
