@kjady At school we’d play bullshit with the added rule that hiding your cards was a permissible way to get rid of them if you could do it without the other players noticing. Several times more fun.
@brennyn@kjady We did that “I Doubt It”. You have multiple decks of cards and a lot of players and you’s try to sneak extra cards into the pile you pass on to someone else. If they think you are passing on extra they can call you on it. If you did then you have to take them all back, and if I recall take the same number from whomever you tried to cheat on. Goal is to get rid of all your cards. I forget all the rules as I haven’t played it in years. Some of my extended family were better liars than others.
My “bubble” people and I played this through lockdowns and have continued on. We just said last week that it got us through that time period, allowing us to talk, laugh until we cried, and made life seem normal.
Bust-Out… you know, the one where you spend years building up good credit history, get lots of high-limit credit cards, and then max them all out and leave the country. Loads of fun!
@pooflady When I was in high school, my parents played that a lot with their friends. Sometimes I’d get asked to sit in to spell a player. I thought it was a lot of fun and they said I played well.
I probably have not played it since then, and don’t recall the rules. Main thing I remember was holding LOTS of cards at one time.
